To my personal taste, this game is superior to hollow knight in almost everything, exceptions being exploration and platforming.

+ The combat is sekiro-like parry based fast,engaging and rewarding.
+ The story is an actual clearly spelled story (which i liked a lot btw) with proper beautiful cutscenes (not animated but very cool non the less)
+ The setting, well that's subjective, but they nailed it here for me with this blend of ghost in the shell like cuberpunk and more grounded far eastern tao/buddhist vibes.
+ The progression system is almost identical to what you have in hollow knight
+ The animations are wonderful
+ Banger soundtrack

- The platforming never becomes challenging, like at all, it's definetly a combat focused game
- The exploration is almost not there, you never get lost or wonder where to go, the game is quite linear and there are few hidden treasures, let alone areas
- Not a minus for me, but for many people it will be, after getting the true ending, there's not much else to do, unlike in hollow knight with it's extra challenges

All in all, this game was a complete surprise to me, and an absolute gem
