What a beautiful game. One of the best games I've played. Soundtrack, art direction, characters, story, gameplay, everything is perfect.
I watched the show when I was a kid and while playing this game I got brought back to those times. I haven't cried like this in years, of course these were happy tears.
Thank you for creating this beautiful game. This is art.

> be me
> spec your character into a stealthy hacker space man
> do the story missions
> be asked to go to a very far away planet
> can't travel because my ship is not powerful enough
> went shopping
> "You cannot purchase ships from this class" need a leveled up perk
> the perks in question require 4-14 skill points + challenges to be wasted just to finish the game

Stupid game design

When I saw the announcement for the sequel I was really excited. I really liked the first game, even though it was rough around the edges, but it was amazing. The edges though, you couldn't cut yourself with those. Where as the this entry, the edges are so rough that they will rip the skin right off.

The performance is not great. I get constant stuttering whenever traversing from arena to arena. Frames drop from 170 down to 16 after the slo-mo "executions" and will not go away until I change something in the video settings. That is DURING combat sequence, which just kills it completely. Audio in some sections cuts in and out, like someone is pulling out and plugging back in my headphones. I like to play on FOV between 95-105 and usually it's fine, but this game changes the perspective terribly. Not only the 90 FOV feels like 70, but when I change it to 100 everything looks like it's a good distance but in reality it isn't even close. I found myself swinging way too soon, missing the attacks.

The gameplay is not great either. There are a lot of bugs that kill your momentum, in a game about being a cyborg ninja, where the movement supposed to be great. The FOV makes you feel like you're a tank, either seeing normally but feel slow or see very narrow and feel slightly faster. Level design is not great either. Traversing doesn't feel smooth and finding the next path forward is not easy. I often just stand and look around to try and find a way.

There are a lot of great ideas in the game but none of them are executed well. Needs more time in the oven for polish LOTS of stuff up

I love MGS3 to bits. It's one of my most favourite games of all time. Seeing that it's coming to PC and Steam I got really excited, but I knew, very well, that this isn't going to be the best port.
It's a re-release of a HD Collection, which itself is a port of a PS2 game. I didn't expect KB/M controls, bunch of games on PC don't have that as standard. I knew the frames will be locked to 60FPS as game is tied to the frames.
What I wanted the most are achievements, up to 4k resolution (upscaled is fine), playable PC version of the game and Steam Deck compatibility. I got 2 out of 4, which I am happy about.
The game runs fine. There are no issues, as far as I've played. It's your old buddy Naked Snake and his amazing adventure, this time on PC. If you don't have the money, wait for updates. If you unsure about the game, wait for updates. If you're a massive fan of MGS games, especially MGS3, then get it.
I'll be waiting for Steam Deck compatibility updates and hopefully higher resolution options,

A fantastic retro FPS. It's a mixture of Doom and Titanfall. Wallrunning is not what we're normally used to which makes it even better. Because you have limited wall jumps it makes you strategies how to use them. Guns feel great, the adrenaline/slow-mo is definitely useful especially when there are more enemies around you.
Loving the cyberpunk world, loving the music, loving the aesthetic of the game and really loving the gameplay. Game is fast, fun and keeps you engaged at all times. You go from fast paced movement to combat to fast paced movement WITH combat!
What I really love is the way devs made logs in this game. If you see a pad with a QR code, whip out your phone and scan it. I was mind blown how amazing AR content was used for this game. The only issue with this is you don't know if you found all logs in the level.

I was really excited for this game. I love roguelikes, especially as fun looking as this one. I was waiting for Returnal to come out on PC for a while now.
BUT I do not recommend it. Not only I feel it's too expensive, but it installs Epic Games overlay and other crap. If you delete it from the game's folder, the game doesn't run. This is a massive deal breaker. Which is a shame as the game looks really fun.

This is one of the best games I have played in a while. The graphics are stunning - architecture looks honestly real. The gameplay is really fun too - the exploration and mysteries of Hogwarts makes me feel like I am playing the original Harry Potter PC versions of the games. The world itself feels great - there's a lot to explore, visit and do. Do yourself a favour and play the game without a minimap. I have no idea why devs are making minimaps for these games. They create beautiful worlds yet they make you look at a corner of your screen.

As for the bad side: I fell through the map once but managed to get back up through the floor by flying up. The AI seems to be stupid sometimes. I threw one of the plants to attack an enemy while I myself was cloaked. Nobody raised any alarms and the enemy who was getting attacked by the plant, was just standing still. On the other side, fighting enemies (especially on Hard difficulty) is challenging, especially if there are 2+ enemies. The performance is definitely crying for a fix. In isolated locations I can get 100FPS+ yet when I go out I drop down to around 20FPS. Mind you, this is for the early access so hopefully the day one patch will fix a lot of the issues.

All in all, I HIGHLY recommend the game. It's fantastic, well made single player experience.
