Faithful recreation of the fun parts of DnD, i.e., crazy wacky ♥♥♥♥. Larian is definitely a "rule of cool" style DM.

A really enjoyable game! The visuals and plot resemble a cozy, chill, good vibes experience, but the mechanics of the game play reflect a challenging optimization problem -- which is exactly the kind of thing that I find fun! NPC dialogue is well written and entertaining, and the soundtrack is amazing (special shout out to the pirate theme made from cat noises).

Truly beautiful game with excellent queer representation. I look forward to the developer's future titles.

Relatively faithful adaptation of 5e SRD mechanics.

Great game! I really loved the first Pillars of Eternity, but the 2nd one is way better!
