It's the lovechild of Half Life and an Survival-Crafter game. Be warned though, this game is very long and also pretty difficult. Best to bring a friend.

This is actual porn for the fans of the original Submachine Flash Series. It is probably the best Point-and-Click-Adventure you can get if you're into light horror and mystery and don't like character dialogues.

It has been greatly optimized with the new engine and looks great even on my 4K Monitor.
It mostly connected all the Submachine Games in one "canonical" string and also added some form of new "Meta-Puzzles" this way. The changes to the existing games give them more context and meaning in the entirety of the story. What I didn't expect, is the entirely new chapter/game "Shattered Quadrant", which serves as the ultimate puzzle after finding all the secrets in the previous chapters. However, it's not entirely new, as it reuses many (if not all, I'm not really sure) assets and areas from "Submachine: Universe", which I also played back then but never finished. Now I did finish it and it was really worth it, albeit a bit obscure at times. In my opinion this was money very well spent.

For the negatives, it's mostly about some visual and audio quirks:

- The default sounds for room transitions and item pickup are not the same as in the original. To be honest, I don't really like them, but at least you can change some of the sounds back in the audio settings.
- When doing something "significant", the game plays some sort of jingle, which does not really fit into Submachine. And this Jingle plays a lot.
- In Chapter 10, when using the Karma Stabiliser, the original game highlighted eligible things with a blue shimmer effect, so you don't have to click everything manually, trying to figure that out. Instead, a lesser version has been implemented, where the Stabiliser glows in the inventory when in an interactable room
- All teleporters have changed sounds as well, but what I really miss about the karma portals is the little looping animation when clicking them
- Managing notes can be a bit messy at times. I believe the flash games had some sort of clipboard as to not clutter the inventory too much.

The negatives may change the atmosphere of the original games quite a bit, but the spirit remains the same. And with the features we gained on return it still is absolutely worth it.

Even though it's really simple, it's easily the best game for VR. I really recommend picking this masterpiece up if you got VR.

For the songs, the original Beat Saber has like 50/50 great and meh songs. It's best played with mods, with the most important of them all being the Custom Song one to play Levels from the community.

In general, it's a really fun team Shooter, but the whole programming and optimization of this game is just awful.

If you want to start the game, you have to wait like 5 minutes until it's started up. That alone is unacceptable for me. But whats also really annoying and important for people, that want to play on a private Server together is, that you need to do a lot of complicated steps with steamcmd and whatelse to get a private server. And this server is huge, as of now this thing has a file size of aprox. 19GB. For a server-software. And if I get the server and the game to start, it gives me and my friends a strange error when attempting to join. It basically tells me, that the server has content, that we dont have, but we have no clue what it is. It's probably some workshop stuff but that doesn't help me.

However, if you want to play on a public server (which I REALLY don't want to) this game is OK.

Bugs. Game breaking, not funny and unfair bugs.
