Don't waste your time, especially on linux.

- You only get two planes to start with, which are frankly pretty terrible.
- You're supposed to buy more planes, which cost north of $100.
- If you use the standalone (non-steam) version of this game, you can trial planes before buying them. For some reason, this is unavailable in the steam version of the game.
- The standalone version does not play well with linux. Despite days of effort, I was unable to get it running in WINE.

I honestly don't understand why they would bother putting their game on steam if there going to restrict the free trials to their standalone edition. There's no way I'm paying A$90-130 for a game expansion when the base game is this awful. Maybe if you started off with a decent plane that doesn't handle like a truck, I would have an idea of what to expect from the expansions.

regarding the planes:
they have more work put into them than many triple a games. don't complain. these planes ARE games, but they run on the "engine" of DCS.

In the steam version is not possible to create free 14-day trial with once per 6 months retry.

Also DCS requires Windows 10 or 11. .net framework 3.5 SP1 and the latest version of .net framework 4. (I think it is 4.8) Also it need MS Visual C++ redistributable 2013 x64 and MS Visual C++ redistributable 2015-2022 x64.

SU-25T is like flying tank. Also one of the best aircrafts for SEAD missions. It can carry the special passive radar locator and shoot long range passive radar guided missiles into SAM systems. Also it has armour like a tank. It will overlive damn a lot of incoming fire.
