if you like modern yugioh, you'll have fun
if you don't like it, you won't
the game has changed a lot in the past how-ever-many-years, so if you come in expecting something like the anime, you will be very disappointed

ranked does need to be changed, though, because yugioh isn't a game that should be played as a best of 1 in higher tiers because it then becomes an actual coinflip because turn 1 player is so heavily advantaged (with some exceptions, depending on starting hand and tech choices/staples).

there is a lot of gem drought after the initial wave, but i suppose thats probably to be expected to some degree, and the secret pack system is a little silly


aside from that, though, it's a pretty good way to actually play some card games
