The game lacks optimization on the pc port aswell as customisation of characters, singleplayer content, brutalities and intros/outros of characters among MUCH more that even MKX had.

Invasion mode sucks. It is fun for like 2hours and then gets repetitive. Also doesnt help that the invasion mode is also capped at 30fps while gameplay is at 60fps as it leads to a stuttery mess and sluggish movement and animations in the invasion mode itself. You can't tell me that this was an artistic choice to do this bs. Looks absolutely horrible.

Gameplay as a whole is amazing. Only thing i hate about it also gets its roots from the pc ports trash optimization. Fatal Blows locked at 30fps is an eye sore ruining an otherwise fantastic experience.

The minimal customization that you can unlock is behind a grindfest of seasonal towers and character leveling.

In order to max one character to get like 3 "ok" looking skins you'd have to grind the same character for HOURS.

I've been playing the same character and i am only level 32 after 15! hours of very sweaty xp methods which are not fun and very mind numbing.

Expect to hit the lvl35 cap at around 30hours of normal gameplay hours PER character of which there are 22 different ones.

Other than that the story was super fun but i do have mixed feelings about the ending.

Oh and also- microtransactions. Yippiee!

Cannot recommend this game at this point in time at all especially at the hefty price of 70€.

Overall a good game with a good story mode like mkx had but still a bit dissapointed about the downgrade in kombat mechanisms compared to mkx.

2021 -- Update, still a very solid game

alternative for Fallout 4 but cheaper and better
