War thunder is a bizarre game. I wouldn't say its P2W since you still need a LOT of skill in high BR lobbies, but it still slightly disappointing to me that MBT's were locked behind the highest level of research. Luckily if all you want to do is drive MBT's then you can purchase the M1A1 AIM or XM-1, but do not buy these thinking you will do well. You will get instakilled more than when you were in low BR.

Overall though, since I enjoy driving MBT's, I dont really mind that I need to pay money to get them before hundreds of hours of grinding.

Also dont really reccomend giving this company any money after the recent issues.
