Best game. Improving month after month, after 1000 hours i cant recommend enough, unless you have a wife then she gets grumpy

Very fun game, the economic side for a village builder is truly the big selling point.

The only downside is the incredibly slow dev cycle. To add sheep, wool mill and warm clothes took near enough 3-4 months. Games like bastide can add that within 2-3 weeks

Good game, can be confusing though. Can't wait for it to be fleshed out

I do really like this game but don't get it until it has autosave! just spent 2 hours cruising and forgot to save? tough ♥♥♥♥♥ mate/

I like this game & i am enjoying. The gameplay is quite fun once you learn the basics. But it is so bug ridden e.g governor has a holding earning 0.7 and for no obvious reason who ditches it for one earning him 0.03. 0 stacks of ships getting stuck in retreat but unable to disband them.

Army management is useless. CK2 had more detailed units. Stacking pure inf is better than mixing with skirmisher units. No help regarding economics, and the 4 buildings on offer are very uninspiring.

With greater work on holdings (granting them like gifts or fiefs), massive work on the economy etc this could be one of the best paradox games out there but crucially it isn't at the minute

It's a good game but not a good fallout. The new paid mods is bethesda expecting the community to pick up and take over as it's too lazy itself yet still wanting all the $$$ . DLC hardly worth it

I don't usually write reviews, but after my experience if i can help anybody it's worth it

The game itself is decent, it's like banished but far more immersive.
Personally controlling a settler is good, the survival is challenging and fun and it has a semi decent number of buildings, nothing close to colonial charter on banished. From a gameplay point it's good BUT

DON'T BUY THE GAME YET. Once you reach year 10 the game DOES NOT save your game, even in vanilla it brings up an error message making it unplayable.
Maybe in the future this will be fixed and i'll reupdate this review. It's a shame as it shows great promise.

I came back to this game after a long while and I've had great fun, i got to year 15 before the crash started kicking in again. Frankie who put a comment on this review has fixed it for me though so thank you Frankie.

The game play is much more stable and I've had a great resurgence in playing again but it shouldn't be down to the players to find fixes for the game.

Would i recommend the game? As a game it is fun, it is like banished but you feel far more connected to your settlers but with far less options. I still loved it so yes for a gameplay


But it's a no due to this bug still breaking saved games!

pretty broken game, needs updates to expand and add more information.

Update - good basic game, fantastic mods and what kick started survival city building

Not a bad game for a few pounds, but random and irritating. would only recommend to waste 30 mins
