I wish there was neutral recommendation, the game is a mile wide and inch deep. Doing new game + just feels like a punishment.

Don't trust the discussion thread for this game, they will say it is alive. News flash its not, if you have to get on at a certain time and when the stars are aligned then you can find a game.

This game is poorly optimized and this is what killed the game.

As much as I like the game, part of me is angry at what Fromsoft has done to us. I'm torn between telling people to play it, and also constantly reminding myself that I can't condone what from has done.

If you are a souls fan you will have played this and liked it, for newer players the pace is a bit faster as it doesn't throw a giant boss at you right away. None the less I think newer players will enjoy the game or hate it.

Another problem I had, was how open it felt at the beginning, but as you progressed your path becomes linear. Kinda opposite of what they did in DS 1.

If you like souls games get it, if you are new read up on the game ect. Will now be watching products from fromsoft like a hawk since they pulled this stunt with trying to make us buy an updated version.
