If you like deck builders, this is a MUST play. Go into it blind. I did and it was the best experience ever. I ended up beating the whole game in a single sitting because I was so sucked in.

If you don't like deckbuilders, but you like really WTF kind of experiences, get it.

Really, if you like video games, get it.

Also, they recently added an endless mode so you can play it Slay the Spire style, just starting over and unlocking new cards.

I picked this game up to take a break from Monster Hunter and Dota, and to try to fill the void that beating Subnautica left in my life. I was incredibly surprised by how much it grabbed me! If someone had blindly given me this game and told me it was just chapter one in a finished game, I'd have believed them. If they had told me this was an early access game that came out a week ago, I'd have told them they were full of it.

This is, in short, a crafting survival game (like Subnautica) in Space. You juggle Oxygen (which is not unlimited), hunger and thirst. The basics. Where this game stands out is how well made and thought out it is. Every area has some commentary from your snarky AI buddy, most areas have some kind of joke either in the commentary or in the area itself. The game ran incredibly smoothly on my GTX 970 on all ultra settings. Even when on one side of the map looking across it, I didn't drop frames.

The humor is dry, snarky, and sometimes dark. If you don't like that style, this game isn't for you. If you do, it's going to be right up your alley. The crafting (one thing at a time) can get a little tedious when prepping for a longer trip, but it isn't too bad. My largest complaint was trying to find enough of a certain material to craft a thing to make it to the next area. It seems all supplies are limited, so I didn't realize that the amount they give you at first is enough to make the first half and go to another area to get the rest.

Overall, I'd recommend it if you're a fan of this style. I can't wait for more content to release!

Great game! No, the combat isn't state of the art, nor are the graphics. If you're looking for that in a zombie game, play something else.
What this game does offer though, is a pure ACTUAL zombie survival experience. Not a "shoot every zombie you see" exerpience. There are supplies to manage, people to deal with, situations that pop up all the time that need attnetion. You can paly every survivor except a couple of the starting ones, but be careful. Death is permanant, there is no getting people back. As soon as someone dies, the game auto saves, so even alt F4 won't save you (i tried).

All in all, the only thing this game REALLY lacks is multiplayer, which is rumored for future DLC. I'd say get it. Now.

Great story teling on a story about the stories we heard as kids. Fable was great, and this is a great take on it. Don't get it if you are looking for another CoD or shooter at all. Get it if you enjoy a GREAT story and awesome progression.
