Have you ever wanted a game where nothing makes sense and when you die you have to quit the game? Are you tired of games looking great but then actually working? Do you crave the challenge of fighting against the tide of frustrating design? Then you're in luck. 尸如潮水, which translates to The body is like a tide is the game for you. I give this game a 10/1.

So, it's got better physics than most games. It's not the most beautiful game ever, but that's kind of the nature of playing with user mods. That said, having constant updates due to user mods makes this game better than pretty much any game so far. 11/27/17

I bought this game just because I thought it included punnett/punnet squares and mendelian sampling. It does and it does so in a way that isn't hard to learn either. I even bought this game for my nieces to play. This game and it's developer bring relatively hard concepts, even for some of my collegues, to a basic level and introduces them to children; Or the children at heart. I'll be going into my third playthrough soon and I'm only on 14.8 total hours. I could run through this game pretty quickly, but then you'd be missing the story. The story is...decent, not great but decent. You are the proprieter of a plant shop and your landlord is Gregor Mendel. He makes you pay 10 bucks every night for rent. You have to make enough money to stay afloat while also trying to breed plants for customers orders. A third but optional objective is to ender the local flower show and move through the local, state, and national levels before trying to win at the worlds fair. These are all pretty easy as long as you have two heterozygous plants ready to breed for anything. The hard part is turning away people when you don't have enough (breeder) power to breed plants for a customers order. Eventually the game will realize you have a spare fauxglove and give you a customer who wants that specific plant and only one. Other times you just have to keep it for the night and try again tomorrow.
I would strongly recommend this game for anyone who loves genetics to even the genetic outliers. (haha, that's a joke.) It will be hours of fun and it's not a game that you have to play for hours to get into, but you certainly can.

Career mode feels like grind central unless you are just great right off the bat or you min/max your character and just drop 3's all day in traffic. That being said, it is a very fun game that seems to adjust to you during the game, but those post game interviews...I just don't know how to please the fans.
