and most of all:

It checks all the boxes:
- Open World
- Skill Tree
- Random Loot

but it doesnt exactly have its own personality. my biggest gripe with this game is the combat. something is missing, whether its in the animations or the sound design. this game just doesnt appeal to me. now, if you have a very low bar for videogames you might like this one. like i said it checks all the basics off the list. but there isn't anything pulling me back to the game. if im not thinking about it when im not gaming, its probably a mid game. and unfortunately, that is what i purchased.

the most fun it has to offer is digging into a mountain to make your own pathway. other than that, i see no memorable things about this. i might have heavily disliked this game, but the potential was definitely there.

after 700 hours i can confidently say:

get good

also final boss in SOTE is freaking OP as hell wtf man

It's the classic Halo experience mane. Campaigns and Multiplayer can lag, AND the matchmaking is usually full of quitters.

So, all in all? Nothing changed. It's the same games we've been playing since console. I will say the "Battle Pass" is really neat. I wish more games would do free Battle Passes and ONLY the free one.

It's a rogue-lite, but you get more story and great support characters that make the game feel like every run matters. not many rogue-lite games have made well written characters such as these! Hypnos is such a d*ck but I like that he's there because when he tells you who killed you its like motivation to keep playing the game and destroy that monster/boss that took your life.
10/10 gameplay with some unbeatable story for the genre.
10/10 just for the music

Outstanding game, the amount of content here is actually insane. Figuring out ways to be more efficient is most of the gameplay here. Cannot wait until the full release! PLEASE SUPPORT THIS GAME AND BUY IT ITS SO GOOD.

A zombie classic. If you havent played the first one, this is the one to buy. DO NOT WASTE MONEY ON THE BUNDLE. L4D2 has all the campaigns.

The game is ugly as hell, but hey it gets the job done. It doesn't hold your hand at all, which I like, but at the same time its got ABSOLUTELY no help at all. If you aren't patient enough to keep trying, you won't have fun.
