Firewatch is a gem. Beautiful art and sound design, emotional and well-done character voice work, intriguing plot, tense atmosphere... this is a fantastic game.

Ah sh!t, here we go again....

Needless to say this is a fantastic game that still holds up to this day. Buy it if you haven't yet.

Amnesia: The Dark Descent is definitely worthy of the praise it's received. Great art design, sounds/music, monsters and a dark story all lend a haunting and brooding atmosphere to this world.

I look forward to playing custom stories and also Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs. Definitely recommended.

I enjoyed The Artifact. I wish the story was a bit longer but it's still interesting nonetheless.

Buy it sometime!

I'd heard of the game before but never played it and I was curious, so I bought the Definitive Edition in a sale a few years back not knowing what to expect. Lo and behold it turned out to be one of my favorite games. The gameplay, story, characters, voice acting, art design, setting and so much more are all top notch. They crafted a fantastic game here. I definitely look forward to playing more games in this series.

The first game in my favorite series ever. I've played through this game numerous times before I got it on Steam and I still love it to this day. I could go on and on about it, but suffice it to say that the story, gameplay, dialogue, etc. are all great.

Okay on to the actual review. This game was a very challenging yet satisfying puzzle game with stunning graphics, too. I felt as if I had an actual physical puzzle in front of me. The lighting, imagery and music add to the calm yet unsettling atmosphere. I snagged this game (and its sequel) during a sale for a low price, but having played the game I'd definitely say it's worth paying full price.

I'm generally not into war games, but I make a big exception for this gem. The gameplay is challenging and teamwork is a must, whether you use full microphone conversations or just the in-game radial voice menu. The maps are intricate and the different modes offer a different type of challenge for each player. Also, two of the things I like the most are the fact that there are achievements for this game and that it supports the Steam Workshop. You can customize the game how you like without sacrificing the inherent challenging nature of the game. Lastly, one thing I've noticed is that the community generally is sportsmanlike and courteous. There's the occasional teamkilling troll and such, but overall I haven't experienced very many problems of that nature.

Update: I still recommend it

One of the best games in the history of gaming, this game achieved a level of storytelling, atmosphere, design, etc. that before it was only achieved rarely, and really hasn't been achieved very often since. What I mentioned above could also be said of the first BioShock, and this game features many elements and ideas from that game. Especially with the Burial at Sea DLC, it even features some of the same settings and characters as the first.

The story has many twists and turns and poses some interesting critiques and analyses of both past and modern society. It truly immerses you into the experience. And lastly, after finishing this game I was a little emotional, just based on the fact that it made such an impact on me. The Sea of Doors at the end was very humbling to me.

This game is aptly-named, because it is a timeless piece of perfection. I cannot recommend this enough. 1000/10.
