Early Access Review
I'll just get this out there right away: Nuclear Nightmare has its faults, but at the end of the day, it's a masterpiece.

After just a short session with two different groups, I've already fallen in love with this game. The new player experience in games like this, that throw everything at you without really explaining much (especially the infection test), can easily create confusion and doubt in your gameplay experience. (No, neither I nor anyone else in the group did the tutorial.)

The game truly has its tense moments, especially at night. The music and ambient sounds add to the atmosphere, and when you can’t see a thing in front of you, even your own footsteps feel like your worst enemy. Or maybe it’s your teammates, who might accidentally walk into a claymore and end the entire run. With its survival horror characteristics, the game also initially comes across as a social deduction game due to the uncertainty. (and the case where only one of your friends starts with a gun.)

The game does need some tweaking in certain areas, particularly the user interface. At least in my humble opinion. Some might find the weapon system a bit confusing, especially how aiming works, but personally, I like it. It fits the slightly low-quality graphical style and even adds to the rough-edged charm of the voice chat.

Did I enjoy the game despite not completing a single mission successfully? Yes. Do I believe it's worth the 6.89€? Absolutely. It has its own unique charm, just like other popular games of 2024. Sure, it still has a long way to go, but that's the nature of an Early Access game. The developer seems passionate enough about improving the game, which gives me confidence in supporting them by purchasing it. And so should you, whoever's reading this.

Game took my soul. Quit the game to regain it. Got interested once more. I'm once again stuck in purgatory. Send help.

CS2, formerly known as CSGO. It's a game that many may like, love, despise or wish hellfire upon it. As of writing this review, I've decided, that from my own experiences and views, it's a game that's a important part of me, whether I like it or not. So, I shall get into my own views and opinions more deeply.

While playing the game, I've met many people, mostly Russians. That's your standard experience. I've met good Russians, bad Russians, neutral Russians, but one thing connects them all. The rage. Russians (in my own experience) get agitated quite easily. You may be able to befriend one in early rounds, but if the game is going badly, they may get angry at you for no apparent reason.
It's not bad that you have Russians in your team, however sometimes they may be a nuisance. I like them, they're funny and occasionally good at the game, most often atleast average. Please do not hate Russians, one bad apple doesn't mean every apple is rotten.

Second thing I would like to talk about is game servers. You want to hear something funny? As long as you're in Europe, no matter which server you play on, you will meet a Russian. Yes, another Russian point. They deserve recognition.

Thirdly, which is actually a negative atleast in my opinion, is the new premier game mode, and it's rankings, more commonly known as Cs rating. I don't know what people were smoking when they decided to make it, and how it was distributed among players, but it most certainly hasn't been showing how good a invidual is. Seems like a cheap copy of some other game's competitive system, but the way it's been built into cs, it just doesn't fit.

My fourth and last point, will be the skins. We all love skins, don't we? They're certainly a important part of the game, however, when a teammate throws the round by trying to pick out the coolest and most appealing skin from the ground, they become a problem. However, that's just human nature, and it's called greed. No way around it, I love skins, you love skins, we all love skins. Which means, we all love wasting money!

This wasn't a actual review, just decided to update my old review, which was just a dot. This seemed like a slightly venting review, but I believe some may see this as funny, or just as a negative outlet. Who knows.
