Amazing game. It feels just like an Xcom game but the initiative bar gives even more strategy into the game. The game does not feel as hard as the previous Xcoms even on impossible but it feels good.

Story 7/10

The story changes depending on which factions you choose to go after and it which order. The overarching story sets up well for a new game in the series but I feel a lot of the reasons behind the factions are not problems and didnt really effect much

Gameplay 8/10

The game play feels just like the previous two Xcom games with only a slight improvement with the unique units. The units themselves are feel different enough from each other but by the endgame i found myself only using the same few units as some are more useful than others. The enemies are very similar to each other but that personally isnt too much of a negative

Music 10/10

Good atmospheric music, feels perfect for the situations.


Those were the good parts, but now onto the negatives. There are way too many bugs for a finished game. Just a few that either me or a friend have had are all enemy units disappearing from the map causing a softlock. A turret not being able to target a unit and not overwatching causing a softlock, enemies reinforcements not arriving causing a softlock. Getting a free medkit after every mission (Had over 40 by the end of the game), Having over a million SMG's in stock, an agent getting sent on a mission with no weapon. Those are to just name a few. I have had over 10 crashes and many more softlocks in under 30 hours.

Overall 7/10

The game is worth playing, but do not play on ironman, the bugs are annoying but so long as you have a backup save you will never lose much progress. Once the bugs are fixed the game would be a solid 9/10
