*slow clap for Sony* Well guys and girls and everyone in-between, here we are. Sony's pièce de résistance is finally here, hidden away on the PS3, PS4, and PS5 for the last decade, now finally out on PC. And how has Sony treated one of their most critically acclaimed series, on the platform that should be able to play it in the smoothest way possible, and with the highest fidelity? They have treated it like absolute garbage. This port is honest to god, garbo tier. My RTX 3080 with 16GB of VRAM can barely keep up with this thing. After trying hopelessly to adjust my settings to get a good performance to looks ratio, I'm still left with a low quality shimmering pixely mess, because running this thing at anything other than DLSS on performance mode tanks my FPS below 30FPS. And DLSS on performance nets me barely 40FPS. I refuse to play a 2013 PS3 game at anything less than 4K 60FPS in 2023, when I can do that with the vast majority of new games at high/ultra settings. Oh and the constant crashing. I've had about 7 crashes so far. Haven't had that so far for any games this year. Save your money, and make Sony think long and hard about how they treat their PC players, because they should be ashamed. I don't usually make reviews either on Steam, but this game has broken that trend, especially since I've been hoping for years that it would come to PC and to see it in this state now is honestly pretty devastating. Will adjust my review if anything changes but far out, what a shame. Boy am I excited to see how Digital Foundry roasts this one.

Excellent title, has many simularities to The Last of Us, but it has no zombies. The games scavenging and stealth mechanics are polished, and smooth. Also, it is a very emotionally draining game, you feel quite depressed after playing. 10/10 would reccomend again
