Fun game. From what i can tell after playing 5 hours. Fun story, memorable characters. Graphics are quite decent aswel. Quite a bit of content to do, but i can see this becoming a chore after playing for a while. One i thing i personally don't like is the general controls for basically everything. It isn't the biggest deal-breaker, but it is something that i don't like at all.

For the achievement hunters, at this point i'm not done at all. From what i can tell, it will be a decent grind, and they don't seem horrible at the moment.

Pretty decent game. It really isn't anything special though, which hurts to say as i love the grid series. I personally completed legends before this one, and legends is obviously by far better. But this is still a solid game to play if you like arcade (very arcade) racing games. Also a decent title if you are an achievement hunter. As there are no online achievements that i am aware off, and the achievements themselves are also quite fun.

Edit: All achievements are fun, except the flew around the globe or whatever it's called. When i completed the full campaign i was at 5000km driven... you need 40000. Needles to say, without glitching it's a pain in the ass. The game is still fun, and all other achievements are fun aswell.

It it the greatest game of all time, hell no. But for the price it's pretty fun. The cars look okay, the overall graphics aren't to bad either. The customization for the cars is actually pretty good. From your standard visual customization. To a bunch of parts you can upgrade. To a VERY good livery maker. There is no story though, atleast not that i'm aware off. You basically do the same couple of race/drift events untill you have a boss event, after that you basically repeat.

Now for the achievements, also the reason i have quite a bit of time in this game (atleast more than i expected i would get). This games achievement list is okay, and terrible at the same time. Some of them are fun, some of them are the biggest pain in the ass ever, and some of them are plain broken to the point that you have to mod the files a little for them to be unlockable (there is a guide on this game that explains everything, it also has the file you need).

@dev please for the love of god never make another achievement like (drive over 200kph for over an hour), or the one where you reverse. And if you do, make it so we can track our progress either through steam or ingame.

Great game. The only big problem i have with it is the WAY TO slippery curbs. I would understand that going on curbs in the wet is a no go, thats logical. But on this game driving over curbs on the apex of the corner will result almost 100% of the time in the car losing control. This really almost made me uninstall it because i have NEVER played a single game where this is the case. At last i am now going for the achievements almost being done. If you are an achievement hunter, be aware. This game is super grindy when it comes to the achievements, and you also need the dlc. The story part of this game is really fun btw.

Edit: Easily the worst ai i have ever seen in a racing game. The "nemesis" system is a joke. The ai's behavior is a joke. The difficulty setting is a joke. The race line they take is a joke. The person in charge of the ai should be fired and blacklisted from ever touching a game again, worthless POS.

Final edit: Just 100% the achievements. The ai is still the worst i've seen in any racing game. Us not being able to properly drive over curbs (atleast without assists) is also a big fat joke. The rubberbanding from the ai is also a little to much (even to the point that some people are not able to win time attack events because the ai gets unbeatable times sometimes). The achievement list isn't the worst i've seen, but ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ is it a time grind. Took me 140 hours to get em all (i did do other things to, if you are extremely efficient you shouldn't need 60 hours for all achievments). Easily the best part about this game is the main story and side story. Also playing with friends is a blast. I do have to say though, even though i do recommend the game, it's barely. Don't buy it full price, that would be a waste of money in my opinion. But if it's on sale and you like the grid series or just want to have a decent arcade racer (that works well with steering wheels btw), go for it.

It's a decent cod. Campaign is very cool, but it is to be expected from a modern warfare game. I do have to say, veteran and realistic is brutal. Not at all impossible, but just very brutal at times.
MP is decent to. Not amazing though. I do have to say that people are overreacting about the movement. It's not at all as bad as some make it out to be. Also the camo grind is overall pretty nice. Only bad thing about the camos is the unlock this attachment, on this gun, to get kill with this other weapon, to get a certain camo system.
And lastly the f2p modes. Both WZ and DMZ are pretty fun. Even though comparing dmz to tarkov is a joke. It's fun to play with friends. WZ is just WZ1 but with the new mechanics.

For achievement hunters. Good news. It's really fun. Even though random/hard at times, it's overall a fun experience. Also no multiplayer achievements. You do have coop achievements, but this can be done with a buddy.

Honestly, i don't see what people like in this game. The physics are easily the worst it has been in years. Grip feels like ♥♥♥♥ except for a couple of cars, and brake to drift is extremely weird. Also for some reason this game is extremely high demanding of your pc. The only reason i would recommend this game, is because of it's customization, they absolutely nailed it. But that's the only good thing about this game, and also the only reason i play besides trying to 100% the achievements.

Not at all worth full price, but if you have a good pc, might be worth it when it's on sale.

Pretty good overall need for speed game. The story isn't bad, it has pretty fun humour, and also the car selection is pretty good. Personally i like the driving physics of nfs 2015 more (also payback), but that's personal preference. It's not a hard game to get the hang of at all, actually i would say it's the easiest out of the modern nfs titles to master (haven't played unbound yet).

For achievement hunters. It's a pretty easy achievement list. Some of them are a little grindy. Also be warned for future buyers, it has 4 online achievements. For 2 of them you just do a total of 25 races online (only need 1 extra person). For the other 2, these are crew related. You have to get max crew level, and also beat a crew time trial. All for all an okay achievement list (nfs 2015 was better). Also if you end up going for the achievements, buying the dlc that gives you all locations will help you massively, but isn't a neccesity.

It's a good game. Is it a perfect game... far from it. But it's fun. Quite a decent collection of cars. A pretty fun story (It has some cringe parts, but to me that just makes it even more hilarious). For driving physics, it's fine. Each class of vehicles feels different, and it's fun to play around with. (For anybody that wants a blast, get the vw beetle derelict parts, the beetle handles extremely fun, almost full grip is possible)

For achievement hunters i have bad news atleast at the time of writing this review. All achievements are good, except for 2. They are multiplayer achievements. They aren't hard, but you need a minimum of 4 total people to do them. And as you might expect, the games multiplayer is pretty much dead. Luckily the online achievements are pretty easy and straightforward. You just need to complete a full playlist (speedlist), which is basically 5 events, which takes no time at all if you have the people. And the other one you need to do 10 total ranked events (not full speedlists, just 10 events). So doing 2 speedlists will get you both achievements, which doesn't take long as long as you have the 4 minimum players.

Overall i would say it's a good game to buy if you like nfs. Especially if it's on discount.

Overall really great game. It's basically like i'm back in 2010, but just with better graphics and optimization. The racing is fun, playing both sides is fun. Even the multiplayer is fun. I expected to need to search for ages for lobbies, but no. Quite allot of people still play this game online (as of this review on 20 nov 2022). I actually met some really nice folks, which is actually something i don't really do on most nfs games (because i rarely play multiplayer on those). Here it feels rewarding to get better. So overall, especially for the price, it's a MUST GRAB, atleast if you like cars/need for speed.

For the achievement side... ooh boy is it a pain in the ass. For the most part the achievements aren't bad. The ones you can do in singleplayer are actually very fun for the most part. The problem i have is with the online ones. As of the time of this review, it's still quite doable to get these. If you can't find a lobby for a specific mode, just make a lobby and wait for a bit. Usually people join. What i am worried about is the future though, online achievements are real killers of games when it comes to achievement hunters. If you buy this in the future and don't find lobbies, atleast you will have some luck. Because for most modes you need at most 1 extra person (yes 2 people will be fine to complete most of the achievements).

Also rubberbanding... like ALLOT of rubberbanding on the ai lol. Sometimes they even crash extremely hard because of it, which is super amusing.
