despite flaws and difference in game design (alot of back tracking and so much decrypting), and beside the kinda empty and bland map, i really enjoyed the set pieces and the badass cinematics because of how refreshing it is to see a slightly different take on the usual Arkham game design. the style is different, and the voice actors too, but i find that refreshing af. batman starting out, gaining the cops' trust etc is cool. just play it if you want more Batman i guess. deathstroke is playable in main game, dont buy the black mask dlc packs

i cant imagine how much it must suck to start playing this game in Overwatch 2. Since this is an O2 review, thumbs down. For a review of Overwatch 1, its a fantastic, fun ass game but O2 devs removed a ton of ♥♥♥♥ and is slowly re adding everything. Theres a list, little things like UI elements to show you're on a killstreak (even though they left the voicelines in) and big things like forcing a character who is known for their completely unique gameplay in an fps game to be a mindless, awful tank character by removing their uppercut, which is the one move that connected their others. i get it's free to play so, despite the crazy prices of 16 quid for just one skin, i get it and i actually dont have a problem with the battle pass, but we paid money for a game and now that game is gone and it's turned into this, with random missing skins that are part of old events that'll never even see the light of day because the events are gone and they have been put into some promotion for a playstation bundle that'll never come back. As an O1 player, the sense of progression is absolutely gone unless you've purchased the battle pass, but even then, it just isnt the same as levels (which they removed) and the awful competitive progression system. This game must be awful for new players at this point in time and i can't imagine having to unlock characters a game where counterpicking is crucial. furthermore, tank is miserable to play about 45 percent of the time because of the new 5v5, and Orisa is just an anti tank which counters most ults with spear, counters half of the tanks with formidify, and can eat all projectiles and ults with her spin. they could have made 6v6 an option in comp and had 5v5 as their main thing, but idk man. i cant imagine an Overwatch 2 player having fun with this game. I still do sometimes because its, at its core, the same game, but everything around it just bores me and i'll never enjoy the game the same way i used to

awful ♥♥♥♥♥♥ fat ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ optimization, ive spent ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ 30 minutes trying to adjust settings to get out of a 30fps lock and ive done it, but the vsync keeps crashing the game when i change the setting, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥ face stupid Ubisoft game. the game's fun i guess

this game has the best atmosphere and identity imo, i would also argue Syndicate and Unity are up there too but this game knows what the hell it is and excels in it. Honestly, i didn't think that i would say it before playing it because i've played every single other AC game but this game's age doesn't betray it's identity, whereas newer AC games' youth betrays its identity. Syndicate and Unity are the only games to come close to the first game in terms of being itself, and im not saying 2-BF are bad but Unity and Syndicate took risks to provide slightly different gameplay experiences, and weren't just reskins with a new story. AC1 wasn't just Prince of Persia reskin, it took steps to give us a unique gameplay experience which would only be replicated for the next decade. I just hope AC Mirage can reset the chain again like Unity, Syndicate and Origins tried to do.
