Initially when I saw this game on the new releases tab I passed on it which I regret doing because it’s one of the most polished and well made games I’ve played in a while. I wouldn’t exactly call it unique because it’s a concept that has been done before i.e. DDLC which is another one of my favorites. It’s the way it’s executed that makes it feel refreshing not to mention how intuitive and simple it is making it play very well never really getting stuck anywhere which leads to a great playing experience. While I enjoyed every second I spent playing it the ending is good but I would have liked a better option available and the closest thing to that is currently unavailable. All in all games like this only come once in a blue moon so if it at all looks interesting play it before you get spoiled

This game is special and normally people’s first experience with vn’s and for good reason. I first played this years ago and fully completed it twice and am currently doing so for the third time and damn does it hit harder as you get older. It really does give you a different perspective on life and how good you may have things compared to other people even if it doesn’t seem like it and each route does a good job at showing different issues and themes. It’s almost like A Silent Voice just in visual novel form and with more disabilities. Anyway highly highly recommend this game even if you don’t like vn’s it’s a gem

Great atmosphere and style are what turn this relatively simple gambling game into an instant classic

Addicting and fun gameplay/combat perfect on steam deck if you have one

If you loved Hotline Miami's gameplay and style you will also enjoy this game. Instead of being story based OTXO is much more arcadey in it's approach to this style of game while it does play very similarly it has other elements that keep it engaging and fun to run through over and over. The style and art is very tastefully done and the music consists of Roller Mobster-esque bangers that enhance the gameplay perfectly. I have yet to complete it but I do plan on doing that soon.

I played this on a laptop with a 3080ti in about 2 hours and while it was unfortunate you need the latest and greatest card in order to experience it to it's full potential, it's still the same great game I and many others love. I never experienced a crash in my time playing either and I can only assume the others who were didn't install the latest drivers but I can't say for certain. Highly recommend setting DLSS to performance if you are one of the many without a 4090. Other than that it's a much needed graphics upgrade and if you haven't played portal in a while this is a great refresher.

What more needs to be said?

I'm not sure how many people will read this review but after playing this game I knew I had to write one.

I've played Earthbound, Mother 3, Undertale, OneShot, Yume Nikki, Corpse Party, and other indie RPG Maker games but this game tops all of them for me. I love all of the games I listed previously deeply but despite them being as great as they are this game has managed to become my favorite of all time.

This game does a great job at hiding whats to come at the beginning and I thankfully experienced it completely blind because wow is it insane. It really reminds me of Earthbound because of how crazy the ending is but it keeps you guessing at when you've reached it because once you think you're almost there it surprises you and keeps making things interesting. Without going into detail the ending and the parts leading up to it manage to top all of the RPG's I've played before it hitting you with an insane ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ that had me completely shocked. Again imagine the fight with Giygas from Earthbound but much much much worse (or better in a way). Then (assuming you are on the true ending) it literally hits you dead in the heart pun intended and had me on the verge of tears.

This game is a lot longer than I thought it would be and I have yet to complete the secret ending and get all the achievements but it's been an absolute pleasure to play the entire time since you never know what you'll encounter next. You can really tell how this game was influenced by Earthbound, Undertale, and Yume Nikki and that's gotta be one of my favorite parts about it because I love all of those games.

This game deserves your attention and if after all I've said you're still not convinced that you should experience this masterpiece of a game for yourself then by all means watch a let's play on it even though you should experience it for yourself by actually playing it if that's what works for you then do it. I don't care how you do it but please don't sleep on this game or give up on it I promise you that this game is worth it.

This game over the course of 3 days has been unlike anything I've ever experienced.

This game is very unique which is probably what got me to buy it in the first place. Even though I was hesitant at first I trusted my gut and I am so glad I did. This game is packed full of puzzles, story, and emotion unlike anything else I've excperienced. I highly suggest this game as it exceeded my expectations and truly made me feel emotion I've never felt before about a videogame.

If you feel like you should try this game out don't hesitate, buy it, and play it preferably blind if possible because you don't want to get spoiled. It was a review just like this that got me to buy this masterpiece in the first place :)
