Hey, wow, look! You pressed the button. So uh... I guess this is the part where I should write some things. My username was a dumb thing I came up with when Game Freak revealed alolan ninetales as "ice/fairy," and I thought jokingly, "so it's Cirno?" Long story short, I needed to come up with a new alias and I picked the first ice word that came to mind, nine ball (⑨) in reference to Cirno, and "Tails" instead of "Tales." (Definitely not because secretly I'm a Sonic fan too. ) I'm not much of a social type of person, just an introverted guy overall who mostly keeps to themselves. I watch some live streams and follow certain people I like but I don't really interact with these communities directly. I'm more of a lurker ngl lol. Yes, I like Touhou Project but probably not for the reasons you think. I genuinely like the series but I'm kind of a scrub who only plays on normal and with a controller. (Yes, really.) I still try to aim for the good endings so no continues here! ZUN's music slaps, I also like the official books (even the text ones that aren't manga) but not into the porn stuff the fan base produces. In fact, the horniness of the community and other communities (anime) is not something I really care for in general and tend to avoid. (I know, shocker, especially since I consume so much anime/manga.) And I don't really follow much of the Touhou fan games as most other people so I'm mostly out of the loop on that front as well, unless one really catches my attention like TPDP did. (Even if it did have its quirks, it's still better than the stuff Game Freak puts out now, lmao.) I have a bit of a bias towards low poly aesthetic considering the orange bandicoot and purple dragon were my gateway to gaming (until the plumber boy won me over with his advance. ) Eventually I wanted to get into PC gaming because of L4D and it took me about 3 years to figure how to make a Steam account (and even then it was on a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ laptop) so I was a bit late to that one lol. On top of that, I played TF2 first since it was free and eventually got around to playing most of Valve's other titles. (Big fan of Half-Life!) Aside from that, I have a niche interest in older games before my time. I guess growing up with a lot of GBA games that were ports of SNES games and then later playing them on SNES at a relative's house while realizing they were the same games fascinated me. I also have emulation to thank for helping me experience a lot of cult classics. (Shame it seems to be frowned upon these days.) In general I love learning about weird/obscure games no one seems to talk about much. (In fact, it was part of the reason I got into Touhou. Though it has become more popular over the years...) I'm not really a huge fan of the current state of the gaming industry and I don't really buy a lot of new games outside of sales. Instead I often find myself playing older games or indie titles. Finally, no, I don't use Twitter/X. I made an account years ago to prevent people from potentially impersonating me and I got suspended while never having done anything on the account. Probably some dumb automated system put in place, and all the more reason for me to not use their ♥♥♥♥♥♥ platform! That's pretty much it, I guess. I'm not really good at ending things off, but who am I kidding? None of you are gonna read all this anyway, lmao.
