Pros:
-Fast, fluid gameplay

Cons:
-Can get difficult if you don't use stealth
-Some fights don't clearly convey how you're supposed to approach them
-Encountered a few glitches and controls not responding
-Pressing a button to pick up health and armor/ammo. Takes too much time away from moving forward.
-Ending was lackluster

I highy, HIGHLY recommend this game. It's a big welcome-back party to excellent story-driven FPS games, it's an absoulte joy to play, and you get the kill all the Nazis. Buy this game.

All in all, I'd recommend the game. It's a fun and relaxing experience and it's a nice break from the more serious games out there.

What a fantastic experience. Orwell is a text-based game with a fairly linear progression. You play an investigator who uses an all-encompassing crowdsources surveillance system called Orwell. You are tasked with uncovering and identifying members of an alleged domestic terrorism group called "Thought" in the fictional country called "The Nation." You work your way through this task by investigating the phone calls, texts, emails, social media, dating profiles, bank information, and relationships of the various "suspects." You take snippets of highlighted information and upload them to Orwell (an irreversable process). It's up to you to decide, at times, which data is relevant. Choose poorly, and you can cause the deaths of certain suspects.

If you hadn't guessed, this game is like an interactive modern version of the book "1984" by George Orwell (my favorite book of all time, by the way.) It offers a striking glimpse into what a complete surviallance state would look like in the modern world, and what the benfits and pitfuls to such a system may be. The game is pretty short at around 4 hours, but that's really all it needed to be. It definitely lacks replayability, but I don't think the story would have the impact of the first playthrough if I were to play it again. If you're interested in the subect matter or in story-based games in general, play Orwell. If you're looking for action or exploration, seek elsewhere. Just be mindful, because you never know who is watching.

This was a surprisingly fun game. I didn't really go in with any expectations and had an absolute blast. The way the story is told is incredibly amusing. The player character is in a bar telling the story to a few other patrons and sometimes exaggerates, which turn into ridiculously over-the-top gameplay segments. The game has some excellent twists, especially the ending. The controls are tight enough as an FPS, and the firefights are a ton of fun. There is a bit of character development, where you essentially pick a few perks towards certain skills as you level up. It's fairly shallow but it does what it needs to. If you're looking for a fun, short FPS to play on a lazy day, you can't really go wrong with this one.

Max Payne 3. What an amazing shooter this game is, one of the best of all time even. It's a linear game through and through, drivin by a solid story told both in-game via voiceovers, and via traditional cutscenes. The gameplay is extremely solid, bringing back the much-loved and often-copied Bullet Time, where you can slow down time for a few seconds to place your shots carefully, or unless a wall of bullets that will riddle the corpses of Max's enemies. The bullet damage is detailed and gory, making each kill feel satisfying and visceral. The level design is tight and well-done, with the Favelas in Brazil being one of my favorite shooter campaign levels of all time. The game looks amazing on ultra (running on an Nvidia GTX970) and runs extremely well. This game is well worth it at any price, so pick it up and play it as soon as you can. You won't regret it.

Portal 2 is one of those gaming experiences that doesn't come to us often enough. It's a wonderful, smart, humorous game that is gripping from start to finish.

Overall, this game is astounding, and there's really not much I can negatively say about it. It's one of the most entertaining gaming experiences I've ever had, and I generally don't care for puzzle games. It's one of my favorite games of all time and I can't recommend it enough. Whether you primarily play FPS, RTS, or any other genre, there's still a pretty good chance that you'll love Portal 2.
