Game is Bad and unfish

You know the feeling when you were waiting for something perfect, counting hours etc. Yeah i don't know it either

So this is summary of feelings about this game and it's a shame in it's current state it is a big No No. (yes i know it's Early Access)
Map is fine it's colourfull and feels lived in , kinda. It should be more DMZ like.

Even though the loot is bad i could live with it.
...But This AI , this god forsaken Ai is so painfull to be involved with it.

Movement
It's really clunky...
Strafing and aiming, God forbid being in a shootout in that state, it's too slow there could be a middle ground between being McQueen Kachow! and being a Snail.

Shooting
At the moment there is no to little recoil, Only recoil i've encountered it's a recoil of my mouse between a my mouse movement and game input.

Overall Feeling
There is no introduction which i hoped for in this game (Animation,first mission with CPU soldiers or something i don't know a sign of our purpouse in that place) (Task system like in Tarkov is fine but damn that was hard spawn-in like in Counter Strike 1.6.

There is no view of your guy after you finish customization (except going back to Customization menu again)

Meaning in this game and feeling that you are getting better in the world... this should be here and that is something i wanted to feel straight away. Competition to the set goal in time of server reset between the PMC Groups that would be nice to see. (see For Honor or Helldivers 2)


I had my hopes up, let's see what happens maybe I will comeback in some time Good Luck with the project but at this moment im leaving negative because it's not for me and i Dislike the product and I've seen all that was to see in 80 minutes.
Bugs, missing features, no point in playing, bad loot (which is plausible if everything else is fun), stupid bots in PVE, Clunky movement of other players... list is long to fix.

Really fun Game,
The story is out there somewhere but it's worth the buy, Modding scene is doing amazing things.
And it's kinda oldschool but with new touch.

But really a Gem to have it

Even though i like the game and I've spent long hours playing and I will play even more,
I am obliged to give it a negative review as a "fellow gamer"

Because of those three sides of this game,

The Bad:
- Optimalization (CPU Heavy npc are non optimized and they "pop-in" into existence in City Hubs.
- Microtransactions again in Single player game (even though they are not needed at all in this game)
- No "New Game" option in the menu (fixed)
- Paid MT to change the parameters of Character
- Bans for managing saves in SINGLE Player game (let's separate Tampering with stats from that (which is silly))
- Denuvo itself is bad and a big bad in the room

The good:
+ World is more compact (at last one game who did nice world with less traversal)
+ Game looks nice, Fidelity of Graphics Effects and yada yada are really well done
+ Pawn system is as good as in Dragon Dogma : Dark Arisen
+ I like the Traversal system and that you can have different aproach to the world
+ The time never stops either you are in the place where something happens or you miss out and Quest may be done by itself

The Meh:

~ Story is okay i like the Game of Thrones stuff added here
~ There is less content than you think
~ Bosses are geting stale after a while
~ The Marshes are .. yeah they are they could be more engaging being more ... that place missed the mark and the AWE was gone after 5 minutes of being there.

Short Summary:
if they will fix the issues at hand from "The Bad" section it can be 8/10 game no problem, BUT!
At the moment it's 6/10 because i had to tweak a living hell out of that game to squeeze some more FPS and have the stable fun. And story sometimes is not there even though there are many cool features the optimization hurts the most with unecessary MicroTransactions as second blow to the face.

It's Cities right? Recommended but if you pc is little slower wait for performance patches.

So Early access game - willing to be a next hit in Narco-Tycoon Genre with fronts to sell your ILLEAGAL products
+a lot of content even for such fresh project - with more to come
+Graphics - Really good 80's style of pixels
+Community

- Balancing has to be made for product prices or logistics

Gameplay needs polishing but yeah it's a solo project mind that.
worth buying YES if you like that genre and you like that kind of Topic for a Tycoon game Close your eyes and buy.
And Discord Server is a place where you can give your feedback directly to the Dev.

For me 10/10 even in current state

Honestly this game is a breath of a good fresh air. I was not keen on having B2D again but it's here, whatever,
this is how arcade game rolls, what a suprise It's not a sim racer.
Still you have an option to turn it off so grip racers can feel right at home.

Having that out of the picture game is fun, interesting with creative mechanics and gives that vibe of older NFS Underground games.
I know you may crucify my opinion for this, because We HAveE cArTooNy ChARaCters but it's just an art style.
(They look and sound better than characters in NFS Heat and are more interesting at least the main protagonists are)

Feel of the game
It flows with street race scene .
(You may argue that a little too edgy and how do you do fellow kids)
but this is no 2005 anymore sorry to break it out to you)
Game gives you that freedom and feeling that you don't have to feel like a Goody two shoes
Presentation nails this and mechanically, day is as risky as night and it's not a knock-off Forza Festival (finally).


Pros

-Graphics

-Story (prologue is good and It's not just a one race at the beginning (I look at you Heat)

-Car Meets (Could be used as changing the car hub during the nightday , hideout to just escape cops but not to Bank Cash)

-Racing tracks are created well

-Takeover is a fun event and even not as competetive

-Map Design and Size (I felt that uncanny feeling of NFS Underground 2. Looking at the city from the distance)

-Cops are tougher (on heat 5)

-Limited Restarts of Races (only 2 restarts for Day and Night, Per one event Day cycle - intense difficulty)

-No Reputation levels to grind (that means you cannot bring your car to 400+ in first few hours)

-Cash is scarce so be mindfull what you buy to upgrade the car. (hardest difficulty - intense)

-Side jobs during the night and day

-Pedestrians are fun addition but visual only

-A$AP is side character (at least from what I experienced)

-Music - there is a lot of tracks more of a Hip Hop Rap than electro but there is a lot

Cons

-For now you cannot disable cartoon effects of smoke.

-Some Visual Bugs (flying stripes of cartoon effects kinda epileptic on my car and oponnents)

-Traffic - Dodge wagoon had Neon Red Tires and other parts were Neon Red Too (evil car feeling)

NFS unbound looks and feel great, it's not 1010 by any means.

I would give it 8 and I am proud that Criterion Games could pull of game as good as GHOST in their prime.

Exaclty what i paid for and what i expected

GREAT GAME 8/10 in Beta
But what stays are floating towns/fiefs sometimes and when you were playing first person sometimes beard/hair/brows stay visible on another fight/town entering and so on but still solid product
