While on a technical level, the game is executed quite well, it is really just a glorified "hold W" simulator with a few QTEs and three or four annoying stealth sections. There is very little actual difficulty in the game - there's more challenge in getting all the failure achievements than not. There are also two areas of the game where you can easily get yourself confused on what to do. One is a forced-failed QTE that isn't explained at all, leaving you resetting from checkpoint endless times until you google it. The other is a "parkour" section where you must climb up (against the obvious path which is downward) to trigger an QTE event to then jump down, instead of just climbing down to begin with (which you can but then cannot proceed because you didn't trigger the unexplained QTE).

The story itself is good enough, well except the what felt like a rushed ending, but there's no reason to play it yourself at the current price point - just watch it.

The final boss fight of this chapter is completely unfair. Literally like 5 seconds to react and do about 5 different things that each take more than a second. Everything else is mostly fine except a few annoying minor bugs or quirks.

It's a fun game for VR and much better than whatever Security Breach was meant to be. However, there are a few issue.
  • Game re-centers you after every loading screen, so you end up completely displaced after even just one mini-game. Very annoying.
  • Some of the controls are very janky, especially in the office mini-games and the arts & crafts loft.
  • Sometimes you do something "wrong" because the game incorrectly detected your actions.
  • Quite a few bugs here and there (you can get jump-scared for no reason).
  • Lots of the mini-games lack proper instructions how to play them and you're left guessing and fending for yourself.
  • Makes you doing ball throwing and bowling in VR but it really sucks at tracking what you did properly.
  • Annoying having to replay the same mini-games again and again for all the collectables.
  • Vanny got scammed again, lol.
  • Mystic hippo is a scam (rip PSVR2 players).

Sorry if this review seems negative, but there's only "good" or "bad" to choose from. Would give it a 7 out of 10.

I enjoyed the game, however, it felt a bit short and considering the demo was the first whole stage of the game, I'd already played a bunch of it before even getting to the real game. Shame really, would've been way cooler if it was at least twice the length.

Awful mess of a pay 2 win game. Paid game, and then you need to pay even more to play anything that lets you progress...

Game crashed about 10+ times during the tutorial so it took more than 3 hour to complete due to having to restart the bot game every time.

Very well built. Nice buttons, not stiff or hard to press. Would reccomend over Xbox or PS Controllers if you are looking for a controller. Nice usability in Windows by default too. Sadly can't yet play Windows Store Games using it without a lot of third party software. 8/10
