Game is definitely much more polished and more complete than the original, but I have absolutely no reason to recommend this over the original. I would only recommend RoRR for the multiplayer, which is not supported (without port forwarding) in RoR.

Currently there is awkward optimizations to allow run & fire, but forcing you to stay shooting in the same direction you started shooting in. This makes gunplay extremely awkward and much less intuitive than the og game.

I have no idea why they introduced providence trials. These are terrible and horrible gimmick minigames that are way too challenging. I've crowned all but the last few, but in the process I had an absolutely awful time. This should simply not be a part of the game. It makes no sense, adds no real content value, and is no fun at all.

I really, really enjoyed RoR, so I recommend you buy that instead of this mediocre upgrade. You can probably also find RoR for much, much cheaper when it's on sale.
