A very good digital adaptation of the popular board game. Streamlines a bunch of things, which really speeds up the sessions. Excellent for new players to learn the game. Be warned though, the automated tracking of various mechanics will 'spoil' you plenty :) At the physical table, you won't have the luxury of always being reminded of missed triggers and such. Last but not least, I found it a bit difficult to keep track of opponents' actions in the current UI (discard pile, played cards, etc.), which is a big part of the physical game.

If you can get over the slight jank of the old engine (especially if you're coming from Zero or Kiwami 1/2), it's a very decent entry in the series. The combat system can be quite infuriating if you're used to just spamming light punches... The story is alright, a bit marred by abrupt changes of tone throughout. For the completionists, this one felt more on the tedious side (batting, golf).

A cute little heart-warming (and heart-wrenching) puzzle adventure. The cutesy aesthetics may be a bit deceiving at first, as the underlying themes can be quite heavy, if you make an effort to understand the message. The dreamy soundtrack sets the solemn tone flawlessly with the help of a soothing voice actress/narrator. Game-play wise, the puzzles' difficulty are varied (I personally got stuck on one for a bit longer), though they may ultimately feel a bit easy for more hardcore riddle solvers - the more 'difficult' ones can be skipped, afaik. I believe the game is best enjoyed playing with a partner/child at a slower pace, letting the theme and story carry you along. It can be quite a tear-jerking experience!

A Ghibli-esque JRPG adventure with kingdom management and a pretty sleek action combat system. It can be a bit 'easier' if you just aim to finish the story. If you're a completionist, the game is grindy as heck... most gear/crafting/resources in the post-game are pure rng, hidden behind rather repetitive dungeon floors with stupidly buffed enemies. But if you enjoy the loop on the way to 100%, go for it! (I kind of did)

Plays more like a tactical short mission/scenario-based JRPG with base management than an XCOM game. Fun in its own way, but may disappoint players expecting to get more of XCOM 1/2.

The biggest change is probably the TIMELINE based combat (hence the JRPG), instead of the traditional 'move-your-whole-team' of the main line games.

Obviously does not contain the actual physical/digital games, it's mostly just a convenient app to streamline your solo play. Also contains some 'bonus modes' for MP play. Tested in a few solo and 3-4 player sessions and it works quite well. The UI could use some improvements but nothing too annoying. The window could use some resizing fixes - but that's a common issue with ported mobile apps.

'Just-one-more-turn' the game. Could feel a bit repetitive/frustrating for less patient players, the higher difficulties do keep it a bit more fresh. The diverse mech-squads are unique, albeit some feel strictly better than others. I treated the game as a sequence chess scenarios to be solves and enjoyed it a lot.

The HD 'remake' of a niche classic, in all its jank and glory. The 'infamous' pathing is so bad it constantly sabotages your gameplay and makes you want to smash your keyboard. The normal+ difficulty is just unfair... The OST is still dope.

A very good digital conversion of the tabletop. Lots of QoL improvements and flows faster than the physical game, which can be rather sluggishly slow, especially at higher player counts; might actually make you want to play the real thing less... One criticism - monitoring opponents' boards is a pain in the butt in the current UI.

A face-lifted classic platformer with all the good... and the 'bad' If you just want to have fun stomping turtles and shooting UFOs with an apple bazooka, you can't go wrong playing this, nostalgia or not. If you are a completionist and plan to get the most out of these games... keep in mind that they were made back in times when people couldn't complain online about how crazy difficult everything is. The freaking time trials and the wonky depth perception are still there in all its glory. If you ripped your hair out back then trying to collect every gem and ankh, might as well shave your head beforehand now :P
