Yooka-Laylee tries to be charming collectathon but fails in a lot of ways.
Overall design is not inspiring. NPCs are some wierd animals or living things/plants and they sound annoying asf.
Everything looks out of place, a mish mash of characters and different themes.
Gameplay is tedious, level design is counterintuitive, sometimes it's hard to find where you need to go, even the main hub feels too complicated to traverse. Difficulty spikes are insane. Some challenges are stupid weak and some suddenly require decent skills.
Game has some good moments but overall it is mediocre and tasteless jank. I can get why people were so рissed with the pricetag.

SPRAWL is one of the shooters ever made.
At first it looks interesting, GitS atmosphere is all over the place, Kowloon is very authentic and OST is top notch.
But then you left with boring level design full of same factories/corridors, braindead enemies chasing you all around, weapons without proper shooting feedback and lacklaster story. They tried to give you a lot of exposition and also hid story bits in scannable QR codes but plot is so boring and woke I didn't even care.
Also, developer is a trans person with toxic behaviour who got salty on negative reviews and ranted about it on twitter.

It is so good and it's finally released.
Aftershock is a fresh experience with a lot of shooting and secret hunting action. Levels are great, new weapon and enemy inclusions are tough. OST is pure acid. A lot of secrets are too well hidden...

Shadow Warrior 3 is a very solid shooter that takes a lot from DOOM Eternal. Gameplay is furious and weapons are punchy.

It feels like Deus Ex on hard drugs

The spice must flow

I'm surprised how overrated FAITH is.
Aesthetically game is amazing, it reminded me of Atari 2600 with its sounds and simplicity. But the main problem is gameplay. FAITH is just not fun to play. It's a walking simulator with some badly designed boss fights. Your character moves with a speed of a minute arrow and dies after one hit. Checkpoints placed without any logic sence and cutscenes are unskippable. Most of the times game will not tell you what you need to do or how to fight the enemy, so be ready for a lot of cheap and unpredicted deaths.
Overall it's the worst game published by New Blood by far. Can't recommend this huge dissapointment to anybody.

INCISION is a solid boomer shooter.
You are a huge strong guy named surgeon and you're fighting body horror creatures in a sick hellish techno nightmare. Atmosphere is pretty dark, all weapons got alternative attacks. Movement and combat feels great. OST is a some kind of industrial electronic music which I like.
