as a fellow niko, i recommend this game

after just my first playthrough, i can easily say that dear esther is definitely one of my most favorite games. i don't know exactly how to describe the feeling, but as i played through it and made myself immersed in the experience, i felt more connected to this game on an emotional level than i have with any other game i've played previously. maybe this is because the game featured themes of death and loss, which is unfortunately something that i've had to experience quite recently. honestly, i have no idea.

this has probably been said in millions of reviews for this game before but, if you're the type of person that enjoys games that heavily rely on action or fast-paced gameplay, this game is most likely not for you.
dear esther is a pretty slow paced game and the interactivity is very minimal.

but if you're willing to fully experience this game and are ok with the way this game works, i 100% recommend this game to you.

at the time of me writing this review, this game is already quite old and i doubt that this game is still getting much attention but if you do like this game and know somebody else that you think might, you should definitely tell them about it because i feel as if this game is way too obscure for something like it.
i really wish that i had heard about this game sooner as i really enjoyed it and while i may not replay it many times more, i am very glad that i purchased it and hope that many others feel the same.

this is the first time i've ever really written a review for a game so i hope that this one is good and expresses how i feel about it in a good way.

I bought a $69 copy of Windows 7 which I took more than 2 days to install on my mac and failed like something times just to play this game, BUY NOW
