So I quickly reached 133 hours played in Marvel's Midnight Suns... still haven't finished it and that's not a bad thing.

Feelings and critical eye below:

I was looking for a new game to throw myself into and wanted an experience and not just something to kill time with, which at first did not put this game on the list of possibles. When the game went on free trial was the first time I actually considered it as I had initially thought that the game looked like it was on rails but after watching the first hour of gameplay footage I understood that the marketing was just poorly focused.

What it feels like:

If I had to describe Midnight suns in a single line it would go:
"Lead teams of Marvel superheroes like an X-com commander version of professor X while enjoying a relationship sim on the side."

You get the heroes, you build their decks and can spend hours tweeking things to produce some enjoyable feels, then after the battle you can engage in hours (and hours) of dialog, hang out dates and customization with a frat house full of super heroes.

Critical eye:
There are things I might have done differently, mostly to streamline or increase replay value, newgame+ is a bit backwards with everything I might want to keep taken away and everything I would want reset, well, not. People have mentioned the cards all having the same optimal build but I think that is preference, I can set things up to finish every map in 1 long (or short) round, but I think I can break the mechanics of just about any game if I put my mind to it so that isn't the flaw of the game but the player.

Are there major stop you from playing flaws?
No I don't think there are and for everything else that's what modding is for, which is as far as I can see completely viable considering there are already game mechanic and card text/effect overhaul mods on nexus so I believe it's a game I will come back to every time a DLC drops or an interesting mod comes out, not unlike Skyrim or other big epics.

Modding aside and judging from just the experience I think just about anyone could play this game for 100+ hours and have a blast, walk away feeling enriched by the experience and optimistic about replaying it every time they get that "marvel movie marathon itch" , you know the one.

Amazingly tight combat, responsive resolution team for server issues, smooth launch (other than the queue, but see earlier comment they resolved that, my server has not had a queue all week) , game just feels good to play, crafting system is great, FISHING, fishing is awesome. Even the bugs are great, game really feels large with a bunch to do, cities are beautiful. That's it, buy a copy on the cheap and come play!

What can we say about Rimworld?

Amazing, and mods will add 1,000 hours to your gameplay experience.
