I've had this game for such a long time and I finally decided to play it. I knew nothing about it, went in blind and wow, it was worth the very short but wholesome experience.

So let's get this out of the way. I would not classify this as a game. It really is just a digital story with very limited interactivity. A visually beautiful digital story no less. However, this means that the replay value is likely very low for some of you. That said, this is a pretty feelsy story. It reminds us what it means to be human: making choices we regret, having hope, getting back on track to what matters and hell, deciding what matters in your life. And no it doesn't pretend to be any more high-brow than that by "answering" those questions.

I highly recommend it for the story, and artwork and style. Just keep in mind that this isn't really a game and you should be good.

Boy, where do we begin? This game is series of awful game design choices bundle into one package. The story begins with an interesting premise, only to throw it out the window the further you progress. What initially starts as a plausible story gets turned into some "The Matrix" meets "an evil ancient danger awaits" trash. The controls are notoriously terrible, imagine PS1 Resident Evil games but worse. This was a very poor game decision that only serves to frustrates the player instead of instilling some sense of urgency and horror unlike said RE games. The mechanics of the games are also notoriously buggy, with the game glitching quite often. The characters are extremely one dimensional with Tyler breaching into questionable territory with how much of a black archetype he is.

I uninstalled it immediately after I obtain all the achievements. This game isn't for those who like adventures, horrors or those who enjoy their stories. I would definitely not recommend this game to anyone out there.

One of the best fast-paced action shooters that has ever existed. I must have spent hundreds of hours on it when it first released back in the day. Too bad that the online multiplayer is absolutely dead.

Absolute ♥♥♥♥. I bought the first game with DLC in hopes to expect a good game but didn't (see my review so you dickriders can hate it). Why would I get Repetitivelands 2 then? Oh wait, I didn't. It was a gift and I still got buyer's remorse. Borderlands 2 is literal rehash of the first, but even worse. The gameplay is exactly the same (boring and unsatisfying in singleplayer and multiplayer), same equally awful and boring missions (go fetch this and/or kill that, or do both!). This game just screams varied gameplay and experience, just like it's predecessor. Let's not forget the newest addition: cringeworthy humor! You thought Claptrap and the game humor was terrible? You'll love all the super mega funny memes and internet culture references to make it even better! Some are subtle, some aren't. If you continue to have no taste in games, liked/loved the first one, then you'll be set and ready to love this one!

A grindfest in which you literally do the same damn thing on every quest. Go fetch this and kill that. Go kill this and fetch that. Sometimes it'll be just one or the other. There's absolutely no variety in this game. That's it. Multiplayer doesn't save it either. The gameplay is the same but only you get 3 others to play with. Gearbox's claim of tons of different, unique weapons is half-right. Except they're literally the same weapon with minor changes in stats. Let's not forget the ending. That was the only thing that kept many people going and yet, Gearbox screws over the player with that awful ending. If you like repetitiveness and have no taste in games, get this. That's right, stay mad Borderlandsfgs.
