A beautifully crafted game with a fun and addicting gameplay loop. I'm not really poker savvy, and I don't usually play deck-builders, but I love Balatro and would highly recommend it!

Fantastic visuals, fun story, and engaging gameplay. In my opinion, what shines most about this game is its excellent and varied pacing. It never feels tedious or dull because it is constantly switching seamlessly between the core elements of horror, action and exploration, and puzzle-solving. It is a classic game formula wrapped up in a beautifully crafted package. For reference, this was my first Resident Evil game, and I definitely plan on playing the other installments now. There is also significant replayability with having two characters' perspectives, as well as alternate runs. The cherry on top is the A+ optimization. If you have a Steam Deck, this game is perfect for it. Overall, I give it a 10/10 and consider it a must-play for horror fans.

An extraordinarily unique game in terms of both the gameplay and, of course, the story. Although the story did overstay its welcome a bit in my opinion, it was certainly interesting, and I particularly enjoyed how intertwined the game's themes and its actual mechanics are. Kojima clearly had a strong vision, which I believe is a large part of what carries the game.

While it is definitely not for everyone, I found the gameplay loop to be extremely satisfying, and if you've ever played Metal Gear Solid V, there are certain aspects of that game that still shine through in Death Stranding in beautiful ways. There is a surprising amount of depth to be found and many different ways to approach a given objective, so in terms of a game taking full advantage of its open world nature, I think this game feels fantastic. On top of everything, the phenomenal visuals and environmental design make it an absolute joy to look at.

Overall, now that I've completed the main story, I can safely say that I love this game enough to want to continue playing and strive for full completion. If you've enjoyed Kojima's past work and are willing to try something out that is totally out there and 100% its own thing, then I think Death Stranding could provide you with an experience unlike any other game.

A fantastic game. An assassin simulator, really. Great visuals, fun gameplay, tons of ways to approach a given objective, and plenty of challenges and collectibles to keep one busy. The replayability is off the charts due to the scale of each location and how complex and dynamic the world and its components are. IO Interactive has really outdone themselves in truly creating a World of Assassination. Speaking as someone who had never played a Hitman game prior to this, I can't recommend this new series enough to anyone that loves stealth-action games. I would say that the next James Bond video game is in very good hands!

If you like management-style games with very in-depth mechanics that result in a lot of fun strategizing and decision-making, this might be up your alley. Although intimidating at first, the learning curve isn't actually too steep if you watch a few YouTube tutorials. Since there isn't really a hard overall objective, there are many different ways to play this game, and as somebody who hasn't even begun to delve into any of the player-made content, I can tell I've barely scratched the surface of what this game has to offer. There's a ton of fun to be had, and it's free, so if you're interested, give it a try!

And here I thought I loved the gameplay of Doom 2016. Eternal kicks everything up a notch and provides 100% non-stop adrenaline-pumping fun. Like its predecessor, it looks fantastic and is optimized extremely well. The gunplay feels so tight and responsive, and everything just clicks perfectly. Definitely one of my favorite games of last year and a must-play for shooter fans. The only thing they fear is you!!!

Deep Rock Galactic is one of the best co-op games of all time, period. The procedurally generated caves, along with the wide variety of mission types, ensure that the game never grows stale. Not to mention the fact that each class is plays completely differently from one another and fulfills a unique and specific role, which is often critical to a team's success. However, if you don't have any buddies to play with, there are, fortunately, a multitude of ways to play: You can join other players' active lobbies, even when they are mid-mission. Or, host your own game and have others join you. OR, play by yourself with the help of a friendly drone named Bosco, who can perform many useful functions. In short, you can enjoy the game in many different ways, and that extends to the difficulty options as well, which allow you to fine-tune your experience to be as casual or hardcore as you want. Furthermore, the number of progression systems, from cosmetics to upgrades and perks, guarantees you won't run out of new, exciting unlocks for a long, long time. Finally, as many other reviews have mentioned, these developers love their game and continue to support it, providing MAJOR content updates regularly. An official VR implementation (with motion controller support!) is just around the corner, so there is still so much to be excited for with DRG. All-in-all, I consider this a must-play for anyone who is a fan of Left 4 Dead or just great co-op games in general. Rock & Stone to the bone!!!

This fun little game is great for parties and people who haven't had much VR experience. The asymmetrical multiplayer makes for some pretty silly gameplay, and some of the furniture is actually quite challenging to assemble.

The perfect way to introduce your friends and family to virtual reality. With a variety of different experiences and games, along with a large hub area with plenty of fun bits and bobs, The Lab provides a fantastic world for a first-time VR player to mess around in. Some of the experiences are more casual or hardcore than others, and as such, there's a little something for everybody. Valve did an excellent job in designing this game to show just what virtual reality is capable of.
