Honestly, it just felt like a major step down from Red Alert 2. I was hoping to continue the fun with the next game in the series, but instead I just felt so let down that even the great FMV's couldn't keep me interested.

I was honestly quite pleased with how well this version ran on my PC. It didn't try to resize my desktop like many older games try to do, it didn't have any real jankiness to it. There was a single cutscene after one of the campaign missions you had to skip in order to not crash, which was definitely unfortunate, but other than that, all 4 campaigns ran flawlessly. Nostalgia is very likely a factor, but there's charm to this game and it'll always be one of my favorites. Miss you, Westwood.

What an absolute gem of a game. I picked this up in a Steam Bundle when buying something else I wanted, and that was a total blessing. I quite enjoyed my adventure through the skies as Eva and wish there was more. Thanks Hungry Couch Games for giving me an enjoyable week and another 100%'d game in my library.

I'm not going to write one of those reviews promising to eat things or anything else, because they're honestly quite stupid. This is about the game. I've played previous tests of this game and they were pretty enjoyable, so I'm hoping the Steam launch carries that forward. Do be wary of the cash shop and the gacha mechanic of the "wish" system, but if you're looking for a good way to kill some time over the summer with some friends (or alone), Once Human will definitely work. Easily over 100 hours of fun to be had without paying a cent.

Early Access Review
I've spent the last 2.5 years waiting for Palworld to launch, ever since I first found out about it during a Craftopia session. That's a long time to wait, just for a game to release into Early Access... yet it did not disappoint. I've not been able to put this game down and am truly surprised by just how well done it is so far. The game runs extremely well, bugs are infrequent (other than that darn AI getting everyone stuck in trees somehow 💢 ), and there's more than enough content to keep you busy.

Now that you know the game is good, you might wonder what it's even about. The best way I can describe it is to think of Ark with Pokemon and some automation. It doesn't really do it justice, but it's the gist of things. The game is a survival focused creature capture in an open world. There are no loading screens, you can explore for hours, and you can customize your team to suit your playstyle.

The game is only $30 USD, which is the perfect price point in my opinion. You don't need to wait for this one to go on sale, it's worth it.

Hades is fantastic for pretty much all the possible reasons. The atmosphere is amazing, the art is top notch, and the characters draw you in. Oh yeah, it's also a ton of fun to play.

I didn't care for it. Maybe you'll like it though.

I have very fond memories of D:OS2 and Larian did not disappoint with their newest release. The game plays much the same except you roll dice. Good stuff!

If there's one thing I can say about Starfield, it's that you can definitely tell Bethesda made it. Despite it being the year 2330 and everyone is living in space, you're going to find trashy living spaces that make you wonder how people manage to keep it air-tight. That's just how Bethesda decorates, trash strewn across the room. But hey, maybe you have a foam cup fetish or really like collecting office supplies? If so, you're going to be in heaven.

Welcome to Fallout in Space (minus VATS).
