Overall a very fun game, well worth full price.

It's a really fun co-op game with a decent amount of variety and great gunplay. As of this review it's still buggy and the weapon balance is... not great, but it's worth getting.

No updates since December 2022 for an Early Access game. That alone should tell you to wait.

The game is pretty alright - looks good, gunplay is good, most of the levels are very well-designed. However, the tactical tools (flashbangs etc) are pretty weak, the AI is terrible, and a lot of the gameplay is clearly very proof-of-concept. It's very far from finished, and it's extremely unlikely RoN will release this year as the devs promised.

Repetitive, tedious, shallow. It might get better later in the game, but hours of spamming the same few actions was enough for me.

The combat is really good, gathering and crafting feel satisfying, the graphics are pretty good.

Apart from that, though, it's just a shallow, unfinished game that needs another ~2 years of dedicated development. There's a tiny number of different enemies, quests all follow the same basic template, all the towns look the same, bugs are serious and common, weapon balance is non-existent... It's just a mess.

Check it out in mid 2022 at the *earliest*. That's still being optimistic.

Fun, promising game, but for an Early Access product the release schedule is very slow. Given their pace so far, a complete product is still probably years away - I would hold off buying this game.

Great remake. It largely keeps the original mechanics, but the game looks great, plays better, and adds some collectibles and additional difficulty settings.

It went from borderline broken, to pretty great. There isn't a game like it - if you love cyberpunk, it's a must-play.

Pretty poor. Very open maps, attackers with worse equipment that the defenders and poor visibility all combine into absolutely nobody wanting to play Soviets - because it's just no fun at all. Base Rising Storm 2 is much better.

Really disappointing. Contrary to some of the reviews here, it's absolutely NOTHING like SWAT 4. If you buy it because you liked that game, you will not enjoy it.

IMO it also fails as an action game because you're penalised for shooting enemies that don't have their weapons pointed at you - which is particularly annoying since you die in one shot most of the time.
