you have to play for 9 hours to unlock ONE new character.

terrible game. they wiped all progress from the beta (which they said they WOULDNT DO), but yet they KEPT my wins stat for a character I now have to grind for hours to re-unlock!!!! make it make sense!!!!!

I held out on buying this because I heard it was really buggy and terrible. I bought the game after the "For Science" update was released since I heard they fixed some of the major bugs and made the game more stable.
So far I am really enjoying the story mode!! I can't stop playing the game because it's so much fun. I think this is a better story mode than KSP 1 which had science and career mode, both of which were kinda bad. The progression is really satisfying and rewarding and the quests give you something to do so you don't have to be only intrinsically motivated.
I have a Ryzen 3600 cpu and a Nvidia 3060Ti gpu and am consistently getting 60fps on high settings at 1080p, so I think the performance is pretty good although I haven't made any huge crafts yet.
I have experienced a few bugs so far (orbital lines not rendering because the game thought my craft was landed on kerbin even though it was orbiting the mun, contents of fairings randomly deciding to detach from the rest of the craft and become uncontrollable) but they were relatively minor and just reloading the save seemed to fix them temporarily.
To anyone on the fence about buying this: go for it! Its a great game, even though there are still a few bugs. The story mode is great. I think this is a worthy sequel to KSP 1.

The game has frequent lag spikes and unbearable music and gameplay. I downloaded this game in the hope that it would be similar to slither.io, instead I was greeted with a poorly designed piece of software created to mimic the great slither.io but with significant and stupid changed, ie the pay to win factor and the ability to stun players then stay still infront of their heads for an instant kill, runing the effort taken to gain strength and turning this skill game into a pay to win nightmare.
