This game is a beautifully written piece of post apocalyptic fiction. It is also a beautiful piece of scenery art and map design. And it just happens to be a quite challenging and well-made 2D survival platformer too.

As someone who's dipped a toe into game design and graphical design, this game feels to me as an assemble of tiny important things all done right, and it delivers big within its budget.

A friend talked me into playing this after I was done with the Dark Souls series, and it was quite fun. It hooked me for the challenge. It wasn't until about a third or so into the game that I realized just what I had been looking at for the past hours, and then my jaw dropped. And it kept dropping repeatedly for every other piece of lore that the game left laying around for me to pick up and read.

The saddest part I guess is that you can play through the entire game without gathering much of the story of that world, he*k you might not even visit several regions of the game. It wont force you, you can play it however you like.
