dont let the newest patch give you a false hope. they've done this before where they fixed a few things but the bugs are still here and have been here since day one. its still frustrating to lose an entire games worth of progress and be sent back to your ship. its still frustrating to get GTA V lobbied into a solo match when you're playing with friends. hold the devs accountable. it's 2024.

The game switched off the Source Engine in an attempt to add more features, which is understandable. However, it is incredibly poorly optimized as opposed to the last game which ran incredibly well on almost every system. Now however, I can feel my pc crying for freedom as the frames bounce anywhere between 100 to 10 fps at any given moment. No options fix this issue. Unless you have a decent top of the line PC, this game simply won't run on your system.

Poorly made, poorly optimized excuse for a cash grab. Only play if you have friends who are entertaining, otherwise this game is a huge waste of money. Sorry excuse for a game.

It's been in early access for at least 3 years now, it really hasn't gone anywhere. Game didn't really hold my attention when I bought it 3 years ago, regretfully stuck with it.

I clicked on something on here and it instantly tried to put it in my cart without my permission. Thank god I wasn't trying to buy something else, because I probably wouldn't have noticed.

i have over 300 hours logged in total cross two platforms on this game and i bought it again.

Take everything that made Civilization V amazing and throw it out the window and make a really bad sci-fi attempt.
That is Beyond Earth.
At first I was so excited to play Civilization after getting hooked on Civilization V, a game I could play for hours on end.
I bought this on my birthday and I can honestly say that even though it was on sale, it was a colossal mistake.
The AI is clueless, the gameplay is boring, there feels like there's no true end goal unlike Civ V, it's hard to tell if your units are even good or not, there's no speciality to any Sponsor, they just sorta have unique abilities that do very little. The game is un-imaginative and cannot hold my attention.
