This game is not multiplayer, and I'm OK with that. My expectations for this game were: resource collection, item creation, spaceships, aliens, lots of planets to explore. I got all that and more!

Using beacons to search out ruins and relics or outposts with mini moral decisions has been entirely engrossing. I love having to struggle through conversations, relying on the cues given in the physical description of the creature I'm talking to, until I learn enough words in the language they're speaking.

This game has met and exceeded the expectations I held for it and it sounds like there's lots more on the way that I'll enjoy too! I'm looking forward to future updates of this game.

That being said, there are some graphical glitches, either due to my AMD drivers (ver 16.8.2), or some optimization that still needs to be done by the developers. I experience some screen tearing with all variations of borderless/fullscreen, vsync on/off, fps cap 30/60/90. There is also some flickering when comparing spaceships and multitools. I hope those issues get fixed in future software updates.

Conclusion:

Fun game so far! I'm looking forward to the future of this game. Met and exceeded my expectations. Some graphical bugs.
