When I've read this book, I was 10-11 years old. I think it was my very first Poirot novel, hence it's good to see Monsieur Poirot on duty again. The game is a point&click adventure. During the gameplay, you are Hercules Poirot who is the most famous detective of the world (personally, maybe the second after Sherlock). You will solve a series of murders. For me, the plot and the logic behind the puzzles is the most important part of an adventure game and both are good for this particular game. The developers nicely adapted the novel. As far as I remember, the game truly follows the novel. The graphics are quite good. I like the audio. Each character has its own accent.

On the other hand, the game has some glitches. First of all, 30 fps is not adequate for a modern game. Time to time it is not possible to click the correct item. Sometimes you can't give up a puzzle. And finally, I've lost a few scenes when I quit the game once or twice. Maybe there is a small bug on the save/load system. It seems that the game is not well optimized but still I recommend it. If you like adventures or detective novels, buy it. 8/10
