Not what I expected. This game is quite boring.
I have over 200 hours in SD gundam G generations.
This game is just pale and uninteresting in comparison.
There's not much strategy. Enemies are stupid even on Expert level.

Oh boy, a 90-hour long prologue. And there are 12 more games of the equal length (if not longer) I need to play if I want to catch up the story, which is still continuing. imho, this series is much better than the more mainstream jrpgs like Final Fantasy or Persona. Don't get me wrong, there are some games in those other series that are genuinely good and enjoyable, but nothing in my opinion holds a candle to the satisfaction I had with trails.
For this one, unlike many other people, I thoroughly enjoyed the first half of the game. The prologue, and chapter 1&2 served as a foreshadowing and foundation for the later story. And the buildup paid off immensely.
Story 10/10. Character 10/10. World building 10/10. Gameplay 9/10. 10/10 music (the ending song is called "Hoshi no Arika").
And Tita is the best girl.

This is a giant middle finger to Blizzard, EA, and Ubisoft.
Well done Larian!
