Insurgency. This game is what Medal of Honor's multiplayer should have been. This game is what you play when you want the competitiveness of Counter Strike but with more customization. The firefights that erupt are firefights similar to what you would see in the middle east. They take place from alley to alley. Rooftop to rooftop.

This game has no shortage of servers. You can instantly get into a full match with ease. The community is tolerable. I've met cool people who play very competetively, yet there is still the presence of screaming 12 year olds. I should add that most matches are just plain quiet, so you may not even have people with mics despite a few players who occasionally announce an enemy's location.

The work that went into Insurgency is remarkable. The landscape in the distance adds so much depth to the game. You feel like you're in Afghanistan fighting insurgents. If you have played Medal of Honor, or watched gameplay of MoH, then you can respect the artwork that goes into the landscape and the background.

The music is the game is not bad either. It's music that fits the setting. Nothing special, nothing bad. I do feel it's worth mentioning as I'm a fan of listening to the game's volume while keeping the natural music going on quitely in the background. The sound of the guns are authentic. The sound of the AK being shot is liberating itself.

Last, but certainly not least, would be the customization. You are given a fixed amount of credits. Every gets the same amount of course, and with that you get your armor, primary rifle, secondary pistol, and attatchments to your rifle. Grenades if needed, but I have no luck with those. 3 different scopes. 1 holographic site, grip, surpressor, flashlight, laser pointer, 3 different types of ammunition, including tracers. And what certainly beats it all is switching from fully automatic to semi. It's one of the many features that shows how the game is perfect if you want a realistic feel while playing the game.

With all that said, This game is a solid 10/10. I've had no problems with the servers, always able to get in and play. When I come across my frequent ban on CS:GO (Sorry but I will not stand for incompetent teammates), this game is what I need to tide my over. It is the goto game for realism in a FPS. It is truly what Medal of Honor's multiplayer should have been. I'd reccomend you get this game and it is always very cheap during the steam sales so make sure you buy it!
