If you're looking for intense, riveting gameplay then look elsewhere. This is a slow meander through an abandoned house with only yourself and the stories of the people that once lived there.

if you're looking for an example of excellent storytelling then this game is definitely for you.
Made up of multiple chapters, each with their own play experience, you're sure to find at least one in there that resonates with you.

At around 2hrs, the game is fairly short, but this works to it's benefit. The game doesn't outstay its welcome and it's worth taking the time to finish the story in one sitting.

Note: I bought this in the summer sale at 60% off but I'd have been more than happy paying the full £15 asking price for such a well crafted experience.

Firstly, I loved the original. The sequel takes everything great about Hand of Fate and improves upon it. The inclusion of new skill and luck based mini-games is great and helps to break up some of the more monotonous elements from the original. Endless mode has also seen some major improvements to stop it getting stale.

I really wanted to like this game but in the words of this games entire script, it's "stupid idiot garbage".

The first chapter lays the groundwork for a decent puzzle game but unfortunately it quickly falls apart from there.
The puzzles are incredibly simple and boil down to "pick up the highlighted item. put the item in the highlighted spot".
It's clear that the writers are fans of Monty Python and some of the jokes do manage to land. Regrettably, the majority of them don't and the game clearly thinks it's funnier than it is.
Vladdy (the bear) is funny for all of two minutes but his lines are so repetitive in nature that the whole thing just becomes boring. I really can't overstate how often the words "stupid", "idiot", and "garbage" are said throughout the game.
There is a hint of an amusing backstory, which is delivered in the form of post-it notes between the two founders. Unfortunately though, every single one of them boils down to one of them being incompetent and the other calling him an idiot.

The game is maybe 2-3 hours at a push, so it's also incredibly short (although this turned out to be a good thing). I purely slogged through to the end just to see if the punchline was worth it... It wasn't.

On the plus side, I didn’t encounter any bugs and everything in the game works as you’d expect. The art is reasonable and the level design is solid. If the writing and puzzle design had only been better it could have been a good game.

I got this game as part of a Humble Bundle but if I'd paid full price for it I'd definitely want my money back. If you're seriously bored, don’t have anything better to play and it’s on sale for a quid then it may be worth your time. Otherwise, give it a hard pass.

Snake Pass is a well designed puzzle platformer that takes a single mechanic (you're a snake that can wrap around poles) and creates a memorable experience.

The visuals are absolutely stunning, colourful and fun, they really succeed at taking a challenging game and making it feel approachable.

The difficulty curve is pretty well balanced thoughtout the game but it is a very challenging game. Going for the collectables can present a significant challenge early on if you're not fully familiar with the controls but after a few hours you'll easily be slithering around with the best of them. My advice would be to complete the game without them and then go back for a second run.

Overall, I really enjoyed this game and would highly recommend giving it a go.

Note: I got the game in a Humble Bundle, so didn't pay much for it. As such i wasn't really expecting much but was pleasantly surprised. I probably wouldn'y pay the full £15.99 for it but getting it on sale would definitely be worthwhile.

The Sexy Brutal is a beautiful game. The visuals are great, the story is compelling and the gameplay is fun.
The idea of rewinding time to prevent differnt murders, without ever being able to directly interact with the victims or the killers, is great. It's not a particularly new idea but the execution is almost flawless.
My only real criticism is that each "level" feels very disconnected from the last. The guests have no real interaction with each other, aside from those who you must save as a pair (with one exception).

Overal though, it's a witty, fun experience and one I'd highly recommend to anyone who is a fan of the genre.

When you look past the interesting visuals this game offers nothing of substance.
The pacing of the story is painfully slow and there is virtually no gameplay of which to speak.
The controls are clunky and doing anything feels like a massive chore.

I understand that it's a walking simulator but it offers very little of interest to look at (most of your time is spend looking at a 2/3 white screen) and the unbelievably slow walking speed of the character and aforementioned terrible controls really put you off wanting to explore the world. I routinely found myself groaning at the thought of having to backtrack a section I'd already explored because it was so tedious.

I really wanted to like this game and tried really hard, but after about an hour of playing I had to abandon it out of sheer boredom. The premise is great but the execution is deeply flawed.

As a games designer, it's great for prototyping new ideas.
Whilst a lot of the games are premium content, there is a lot of free to play games available. I've only played with friends, so can't say anything about the community in general but the experience I've had with the software has been generally good.
I've not played Tabletop Simulator, so can't draw any comparrisons. However, for my purposes this does the job just fine.

This game taught me rocket science. Turns out it's not that hard, provided you have an unlimited supply of Kerbals willing to die for the cause.

This game is truly amazing and you can play at any level from "I like turning Kerbals into fireworks", right up to "If I perform an Oberth maneuver around Kerbin and don't miss the transfer window I should be able transfer to Duna Orbit with the least Delta V".

Highly recommended and hands down the best value for money I've ever experienced!

It's the most innovative shooter I've played in years.

So, this will be a slightly odd review for what is a very odd game.
To start, it's not really a game in the traditional sense. It's more of a guided story with some basic interactive elements. It's short, about an hour or so, and if you're looking for something like the stanley parable then you've come to completely the wrong place. It also lacks any real replayability, since the point seems to be to leave you thinking about the deeper meaning of the game and and not to make you go back to cover old ground looking for missed clues. Everything is given to you as you go.
These all sound like negative points, and they are for many gamers out there, but I could never bring myself to downvote a piece as interesting as this.
This is definitely one for the more philosophical people out there, so if that's not your thing then don't waste your money. You will not laugh, you will not get to kill anything, you may find it horribly boring.
However, for those still reading, this game is worth every penny. The journey it takes you on is interesting and insightful, and I'm sure it will leave you feeling a little melancholy. Unfortunately, I can't say much more without spoilers and the story is really something you need to experience for yourself.
