Time spent: If gameplay time is an important thing for you, mine reflects a playthrough of trying to get all the collectibles, sneaking around for some parts, and struggling with a puzzle or navigation a couple times.

"In Sound Mind" was an absolute delight (which may seem weird to say for a horror game).
It's a dive into the minds of patients with varying stories, troubles, and challenges, all tied together by mystery, puzzle-solving, and a nicely balanced (not too horrifying, but definitely eerie) atmosphere.

The game had me on edge for most of the playthrough, particularly in the beginning. As the story continued, however, I became less focused on the "fear-of-anything-and-everything-moving-in-the-dark"-vibe one can get from horror games.
Instead I was continuously drawn in by a wonderful story, varied maps and landscapes, interesting mechanics, and plenty of puzzles.
You can pet the cat, which is always a plus.
Music by The Living Tombstone was also a very welcome aspect, as I've enjoyed their music for a long time.

If the sentence "FPS Horror Psychonauts" intrigues you, absolutely give this a go.

By far one of my favourite single-player titles played in recent times.
I can't wait for more from this developer, and am really hoping for a sequel to this!
