Early Access Review
At first glance of the trailer + game description, the game seemed to be pretty shallow in terms of gameplay. However many hours into the game I am still finding new content and different things to do. The core gameplay loop of diving for fish during the day and then the evening restaurant portion are excellent and fun all by themselves. Over the time the game decides to keep things fresh and is like:

"Hey, you want extra side missions?" or,
"Here are some little mini-games to keep you on your toes while playing".
"Now how about a collect-them-all challenge?".
"Fine, how about an actual story to follow while progressing?".
"Not enough?... Jeez well then here is an extra farming type activity".
"Oh did I mention that the restaurant portion of the game also has more depth than most indie games these days?".

Basically what the game is hiding from you is that it has a ton to offer besides just a little fishing/diving minigame. So much stuff is hiding below the surface in terms of the gameplay and all the content it offers and almost everything is entertaining and polished.
The developers have done an excellent job in terms of the pace at which new things are introduced so that there is no panic of learning too much at one time.
Besides the game's content, the writing and animations are also very well done. Some of the little cutscenes can be a little repetitive however they are only a few seconds long and can be skipped if needed so even if you don't like them it doesn't matter.

Highly recommend the game to anyone wanting to play something chill/relaxing with a lot of depth.

Only criticism I have to offer so far is that some actions require some button mashing which I don't mind too much but the one that is the most common so far is requires the spacebar which is the most obnoxious one to me because its the loudest one on my keyboard. I would prefer that all of the button mashing sequences were less common and perhaps replaced entirely with just the rotate-mouse options as those are less annoying.

Short game but at least its replayable as much as you want if you are looking to improve your score or relax.
Very chill game that is worth it on sale (paid about $0.84) but likely wouldn't want to pay it at full price.

First of all if you are looking at the reviews prior to buying this I would recommend you look at the amount of time that everyone has played this game for. 99% are about 45 minutes. Also there appears to be some sort of weird meme status for this series as they all have "Overwhelmingly Positive" but so far neither the first or second entries in the series have more than 5-10 minutes of actual "content". Read the negative reviews and then read the positive reviews and you will see a pattern. That isn't to say you shouldn't buy this game. Just be prepared to be massively underwhelmed if you are trusting what the Steam score is saying.

Overall I enjoyed the general ridiculous nature of the graphics and animations and I chuckled a few times at the writing.
That being said, even on sale this game in my opinion isn't worth what I paid for it which was about $3. The description in the store page gives an approximate completion time of 1 hour however I took my time with it and went out of my way to 'explore' the environment and I still completed everything in just over 30 minutes. If the game was truly about 1 hour of content then perhaps the price tag could be justified but unfortunately its really a straightforward game that can be completed quickly with no replayability. Also the "mystery" is extremely obvious if you actually read the dialogue so even the one time I played through this there was no suspense. And maybe that's part of the joke or meme status of this game, but I wish I knew that beforehand.

And just to be clear, the gameplay is literally walking back and forth between like 10 characters, most of whom you need to speak to one time. The whole appeal to the game is its writing but there just isn't enough of it.

One of the best and most addicting games I have ever played. For $20 you get the 2nd highest rated game on Steam right now with (pretty much) endless amounts of gameplay both in single player and multiplayer. The game has a ton of great mods to try out as well for when the original vanilla experience needs extra content, however for me that hasn't happened yet.
