I ate a salad for dogs that was made of fried tennis balls.

Jokes aside, this is one of the best crafted games of all time. It defied all logic in the good sense, and create very powerful moments with really simplistic 8bit graphics.

10/10 will fight an spaghetti lover skeleton again.

EDIT:

There are a lot of games that claims that what you do in the game affect the ending, the gameplay, or whatever. For example, the Telltale Walkind Dead series, Mass Effect series, Life is Strange, etc...

ALL LIES!!!

They don't change shait, you just get a slighlty different text and everything converge to the same ending, something that doesn't make any sense; or in the worse case scenario like Mass Effect, you get to pick between three different screen colors and that it's.

Undertale is one of the few games that actually have consequences from the storyline of what you did in the past; and several of them. It doesn't reach the level of Chrono Trigger, and the only ones beside these two I can really think about are Fallout, Fallout 2, and The Stanley Parable (to some extend). And is a complete shame that SNES-level games that you can emulate nowadays with a toaster, still do better in non-linear storytelling that modern games. Seriously, script writters should feel humiliated and in total abash. Shamefull display!
