With this newest update, it's now easy to recommend Forewarned. It now has so much of its own identity where a phasmophobia comparison is no longer warranted. It's still rough in places, but there's so many cool things to see. The mummies, maps, and ritual chambers are all so distinct that everything new is a treat. And terrifying!

This is a much different game from the original but I do no think that is a bad thing. The shadow mechanic from the first game is gone(?) and stealth is generally de-emphasized. But that's not a bad thing! It has been traded out for much more fluid movement and more in-depth upgrades.
