EA's app is terrible. caused me much grief and devalued the whole experience.

i hate the collectibles system. its no replacement for a virtual economy, even a basic one. i hate having to go out into the world to specific corners to find specific rocks to get a mullet. in places clearly only accessible to jedi that can wall run. normal people dont wall run as their main method of travel like cal. id would implore the devs look to the witcher 3 here, just a basic currency exchange system, and some jobs to make them.

the "gamifying" of so many elements do a lot to break immersion. the level design for instance, is good for the mechanics in the game, but many of the structures you will traverse make no real world sense at all. rooms that are, again, only accessible by a jedi with force powers, filled with boxes???...is there a jedi janitor somewhere maintaining these mystery arcade rooms?

the planet choices are more boring this time around. with no civilization, merchants, hub areas, or anything else to actually *do* on any of them, they feel more bland.

the game made me crave a proper star wars sandbox rpg. it nailed what it was aiming for in the areas of combat and character acting, but the gameplay loop left a lot to be desired.

honestly? it needs sprinting and a level editor.

a very clumsy attempt at a large scale vr melee game.

the weapons dont feel as present as in blade and sorcery, same with the armor the enemies wear. the setting is terribly generic.

overall, its a very unpolished experience.

interesting concept but with mechs no having directional damage or several different damage states or status effects, it misses all the most interesting tactical elements of CoH while attempting to replicate it.

good character designs and art direction, but ultimately a very basic rts formula that has many rough edges.

ive never seen a game in more need of mods and the steam workshop.

They do not make them like this anymore.

become the blacksmiths son. realize you dont know how to fight with a sword and thats why its difficult early. go train with the captain of the guard. practise everything till you are satisified.

this is a game where time put in is actually felt.

this is an amazing rpg. a game with an actual role to play, but still freedom where it counts (exploration, quest decisions, combat style, to name a few) you wont regret it.
