This is literally my favourite game in years. Maybe over a decade.

It's for genre, I'd call it "strategy/puzzle". Tactics are important, but the game gives you every possible opportunity of puzzling out solutions. That said, if you're pushing harder difficulties, there will be unwinnable situations, where strategy comes into play.

This is the most 'balanced' game I have ever played. I was a big FTL fan, but this is better in every way. I love that every strategy is viable to complete the game ... that was a major flaw in FTL.
