Planetside 2 at it's core is a good game. You can do ground, air, and machinery assault. It can suit any playstyle. I am kinda sad back in 2011-2020 not lots of people playing especially my friends. It was free.

Tried it again in 2020 and holy crap there are tons of amazing new update. Last time I played this was in 2013. Lots of stuff changed. I remembered the day when they did a handover from SOE to DayBreak games. I left the game because of the robot AI thing that can fill the empty server or something like that, and also the freaking Queue system for the paying players. Good job at getting rid of free players. I left the game since. Last time I remembered the game's latest update after years of stagnant updates from SEO was the new vehicles (valkyrie), then new base making, which is super cool, but it was just resources grinding and eventually boring. Now the core games still the same, super fun at core. But what really mesmerize me was the BIG GIANT SHIP called BASTION!! Never tried to build it, or attack it using Colossus, but still the sight of it is super cool.

New updates such as space station is very cool. I am very satisfied of what this game has advanced in 2022. It adds so much without changing too much.

A good game which forms of lots of players. Want to have fun instantly? Join a group/squad,never go alone on a war. join a big fight (large scale, the larger the better) and better stay with your friends. This game is not good if you're alone.

Oh, and also, try to select a server that is close to your place/lowest ping. You don't wanna play with high ping in this game. 1-2 bullets to your head makes a lot of differences, and you may be able to hit them with your gun if you are lagging. Good graphics.

Tip for beginner:
STAY WITH THE GROUP ALL THE TIME AND PLAY AS MEDIC (Free xp to revive and heal team) or ENGINEER that can safely stay behind line and repair.

Cons:
-Tagging system: if you are seen by enemy, they can tag you for a time, the whole enemy can see your location in the map and on the HUD, and you can be killed easily and it makes you the target of the whole squad, that's basically the weakness of this game.

Extremely good graphics, good interface,and easy to adapt (shifting from Dota 1 to Dota 2) !
Gameplay experience is always good. If you ever feel bored, just switch your heroes/get used to new heroes and you will feel a brand new experience again. A very good game. Gives free to play feature, and you dont have to pay to win. You give money merely for eye candy only. Only real skills are allowed here!
