I hate that we need to do certain boring missions like gather X item, clear this dungeon (altought I had, but it didnt mark as completed) to progress to the Seasons.

Always online sucks

Stay away from this game until they have change lots of stuffs

If you love sci fi, roleplaying games, space adventure, exploring planets, spaceships, futuristic adventure, and so on, this game is for you. Starfield is about game that puts you into space exploration while finding strange artifact. You can hunt down bandits thru radiant quest, explore planets, scan animals, make base, get house, get romantic partner, etc. You can make or build your own ships, design it however you want.

WARNING:
THE GAME HAS GAME-BLOCKING-PROGRESSING BUG ON CERTAIN QUEST, EVEN MAIN QUEST, THAT HINDERS YOUR PROGRESSION AND EVEN PERMANENTLY LOCK YOU OUT OF THE CURRENT ON GOING QUEST, THE SOLUTION IS TO ROLLBACK TO PREVIOUS SAVES (BEFORE TAKING THE QUEST).

MAKE SURE YOU HAVE TONS OF SAVE FILES ON DIFFERENT PROGRESSION (ie. before going on a quest, during, before ending, and after) and DO NOT REMOVE THEM, as 1 bugged quest CAN STILL AFFECT OTHER semi-related QUEST (especially main quest).

THE GAME HAS ALSO PROBLEM WITH CLOUD SAVING SOMEHOW (does not happen to other game) I'm not 100% sure if it's steam side or game's side (which does not make sense, but only this game has cloud problem) the problem is that my savegames from 1 device does not get synced to the cloud.

These two problems happened to other people (as seen on Reddit and Steam forum) and definitely dampens down your mood to play the game. The game works 80-90% of the time, but it does have this serious bug I mentioned above.

There are tons of things to do in Starfield, from mission boards (killing enemy ships, make delivery) to handcrafted missions.

What Lacking:
1. lots of loading screen, reduces immersability. Warp to another planet? Black screen. Entering ship? Black screen. CHANGE IT.
2. character/companion story and dialogue is shallow and boring
3. Companions are mostly related to Constellation and mostly are good oriented
4. Same weakness with most space exploration game: tons of planets but nothing is inside of it, feels bland and empty.
5. NPCs are boring. Normal NPC dont have much dialogue, no schedule, just walking mindlessly. I've once waited for 4 hours only to see same guy doing pushups. Everyone stays the same wherever they are. The 3 board members are still in the same position I left days ago.
6. Gathering resources to make planetbase is such a chore and exhausting. You need to jump shop to shop and wait for store reset to replenish their items. Plus you need to upgrade your skill to unlock some base items.
7. Story is shallow with no BIG plot twist, everything is mostly straightforward.
8. AI Combat is shallow
9. Radiant mission is boring. Take mission, go to planet, kill, return. That's it.
10. Ammos can be expensive.

Suggestion to the dev:
I kinda wish the story has some sort of trap element, like in Fallout 3, Skyrim or NV when you enter some area, you either get stunned by grenade, fall into a trap, or electrified and get captured. So everything that was supposed to end well, it didn't. But no, the story is too straightforward without any traps.

FINAL RECOMMENDATION IN 2023:
Still a good game but thread carefully. Can be boring in long run because of some stuff's that repetitive. Get it on sale if you can withstand what I stated in the review. Game's weakness and my review can be changed as the game is being updated/changed by the developer.

WARNING -- Connection for multiplayer with another host NEEDS TO be stable. You cannot play this game if you and host connection is bad. You're gonna miss the timing to evade, in a game where evasion timing is important. Not as stable as ELden Ring or MHW's connection

What I like / pros :
-Easy to connect to other player's world, not the best but still okay (i.e you have to touch a stone first, need to do some steps to connect instead of direct connect from menu.)
-Variety of weapon/gameplay/styles to experiment with, mix and matching weapon, weapon's mods/skills, and character's skill. You can be melee tank, shooter, support, healer, etc.
-Has Elden Ring, Dark Souls and Bloodborne inspired map/theme/feel

What I dont like/can be improved:
-Overall each dungeon/map thoroughly feels the same: if everything is X themed, it's all X themed. I sometimes enjoy the walk and pays some attention to detail, the wall, the vase, etc. As you go along, it all feels the same. No variety. Map also feels like a labyrinth.
-Gameplay core is repetitive: arrive, explore but also follow linear line, kill enemy, enter arena to kill boss.
-NOT Open World

CONCLUSION:
If you like:
-Remnant 1
-Dark Souls
-Multi-world/universe travel
-Sci fi
-Monsters

Get this game! Game is more recommended to play with friend IF they know some map's secret armor and weapons and want to unlock them in one go.

Game is good, to be honest. But it feels short. It needs more content and hour. I've joined tons of people, and if you play casually (not exploring all secrets) the end can be reached fairly fast. I guess the selling point is exploring the secrets AND revealing the hidden boss behind it.

So.. Overwatch... after being on your OWN platform (Blizzard Platform) for some time, you finally came crawling to Steam, eh?

Its not a bad idea though.
Honestly it's a good approach. You made your game free to play in Steam, the currently best video game market platform.

But that still couldn't save your game right?

So what's wrong your game?

First of all, nothing in the game is actually NEW or refreshing, or the element of surprise, or something that make people say:
"WOW! So this is Overwatch 2! Better graphics and better core gameplay!" or maybe something as simple as "All the stuffs the developers PROMISED BEFORE, came true!"

You failed those. You guys didn't make it happen at the time of the review.

Second, this game may be labelled as "OVERWATCH 2" , but it is actually still Overwatch 1 "downgrade" with tons micro transactions. Lots of promised stuff missing.

To sum it up, the game offers nothing new with Overwatch TWO label gimmick.

I hope they're not gonna do the "release first, fix later" strategy. Sure, redeeming yourself like No Man Sky or Cyberpunk 2077 or Fallout 76 could work, but for now, it's gonna look bad on Steam page.

Ask yourself, Overwatch/Blizzard Developer. How can I make this game better for the gamers?

Hunting game

Nice colony sim, easy to recruit, understand and build.

A good game but needs time to learn the controls, and movement.
Definitely not focusing on fast action shooter, but more on strategic and patiently wait to strike.

Game is unplayable.

Game has multiple issues:
-fps capped at 30fps, if more the game MIGHT crash.
-need to adjust CPU affinity to 4 only EVERYTIME you wanna play
-does not have cloud saving (will be gone if you uninstalled or play other place)
-my save games after manual save is not saving / gone (after progressed, i saved, quit the game, and my save is not there)

This game needs a proper/better pc port, or a remaster.

Its like RDR2 but with zombies, and bikes.

What I like:
-Base is okay, need more variety and life, though
-Combat is okay
-Stealth is okay

What I dont like:
-Boring, bland dialogue
-Mediocre mission/story

Conclusin:
May not the best zombie game, eh, may be skippable. If you really wanna get the game, wait for heavy sale.
