This game is something else, I wouldn't say its extremely awful but its not good either. They already took an accomplished story and threw new Kingdom Heart level of writing into the game. The best elements of the story were the things that happened in the original and reliving them, everything they added just feels like poorly written filler. Every-time these ghost of destiny appear it just grinds my gear. The OG ff7 was a gritty setting where there were surprises with every main event that occurred. In Rebirth its so obvious what is going to happen because once the ghost get involved you know they are going to do the exact opposite of expected.

The open world itself felt extremely empty and the side missions were so stale and boring I had to drop the difficulty to easy just so i could blow through the rest of the story. Its a chore to play this game after 30 hours, I don't know how some have hundreds of hours on this game trying to 100% it.

I don't think I am going to get the final installment once it releases, this isn't FF7 its some Kingdom Hearts game. Making this game into 3 different games is also another baffling decision, with how much random stale junk they added to both games, its not all out of the realm of possibilities that this could of been one installment.

My recommendation - go play the original.

I actually really enjoyed playing this - but dont want to get burned out before they add more content im going to shelf it. But looking forward to future updates.

Takes me back to the shadow of chornobyl days - having a lot of fun - would recommend playing on the hardest difficulty.

Im having way more fun with this game than i would thought! Pretty decent learning curve! would be awesome to hit that multiplayer mark!

You are better off playing starcraft remaster than this. Supported this game for one of the worse sneak peeks of a campaign i have seen.

Its a looter shooter that plays like division but has the upgrade systems of warframe/destiny.

Ive put in some hours but i have not put a penny in this game and have multiple descendants and other weapons.

I have no idea why im addicted to this game - but we need updates and a better inventory management system.
